Counting Down!

Archery antelope started already, rifle hunts in 6 days. Elk & deer in 3.5 weeks. Who's counting down?

My daughters first hunt ever is antelope in 6 days. Don't know who is more excited her or myself! We have been shooting a lot she is ready to go.

Good luck, shoot straight, and tag that big one! Can't wait to see some pics & stories!

My nephew was on the youth muzzy 50/52 this past weekend. Shot and missed from what I was told by his mom.

From what I saw it was likely a running shot. The year I had this tag I felt lucky the antelope stopped long enuff for a shot and I didn’t hit anyone on an atv I have never seen as many people hazing and hammering antelope in all my days. It would still be an awesome hunt if this wasn’t the case. On the bright side if u have a heart attack or break a leg there will soon be a side by side there to run over u and end ur misery

I was just down in 50-52 with my daughter and her freind who had the tag. It’s a real bummer these kids are loosing scopes in that unit and many others. It’s going to be a really tough hunt in the future.

More info came to light, it was a longer shot than "normal".

Yeah, this hunt isn't one to easily do with consistent shots under 150 yds. We hunted it two years ago and ended up with an immature buck, only because it was wounded from earlier on in the hunt and decided to put it down.
