Pancreatic cancer, he died peacefully with his wife by his side. Member of the Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club, POW and a pretty good guy. He bought me my first two guns when I was 8. I got to see him one last time a couple weeks ago, not long after he called me with the news. Went to the ER for stomach pain on a Sunday, had nearly 1.5q of fluid drained, diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer (stage IV) the next day and died less than a month later.

He will remain my brother forever.

I've been reading a lot of books written by VN combat soldiers lately. No wonder so many of those guys are messed up. What a rotten thing to put people through. Unforgivable in my opinion.

Sorry about your friend Doc.

Sure seems like a ton of those guys got screwed up I war and in death from cancers.

Glad he got out relatively quick, cancer sucks
