I went on an overnight scouting run yesterday and just got home. Saw some decent critters. It's dry in SE Wyoming but the animals all seem to be doing well. As usual, I saw some solid bucks but did not get pics of them. Too wild and too far.
I slept under the stars in my bedroll, as I often do. And a little after 4 this morning, my friend Orion came over the eastern horizon. First time I have seen Orion this year. It is getting close to "time to hunt."
