How long, and how much weight are yall running for stabilizers? (Not looking for side bars).

I'm playing around with my set up and testing the bee stinger microhex 6", 8" and 10". Trying not to get too heavy as I'm a mountain hunter, but to get that sweet spot. I'm thinking the 10" with just 2oz of weight at the end is feeling better, but It seems pretty long.

Try the equivilizer and you’ll be that much lighter since you will lose the weight of a stabilizer! I’m also a Mtn hunter and always trimming the ounces. Best quiver/ stabilizer and it can be quick detach and attach like a regular quiver for your hike in. Wry stabil for those longer shots if needed!

Check ‘em out and you won’t be sorry you did! ? best of luck!

I have a nice little 6" on their now and it's not super heavy. Fits what I'm doing well. My question is between 0-50 yards will I benefited enough from a longer stabilizer like 8 or 10in enough to add that bit of weight? Or would that really only benefit me if I was shooting past that like 70+? I max out at 60 yards and don't like shooting beyond.

I don’t like shooting much beyond 70 yards on an animal but practice out over 100 yds with my Broadheads and only shoot one arrow at a time because I was cutting my fletching off because of the accuracy and stability achieved with a longer stabilizer and That is why you see so many long stabilizers being used at 3D and competition shooting! Every little bit counts in my opinion! Could make the difference of a lethal or non lethal
shot. ?

Do yourself a favor and get a crossover stabilizer. It's adjustable and easy to use. You can add as much weight on the front of it as you need too.

I've had mine for a few years and love it.

+1 on the quivalizer, love mine. The Crossover looks great too, solid adjustable design. The further you get the weight out, the easier is to hold the pin steady, whether at 5 yards or 105 yards, just exaggerated at further distance. It does adjust the holding balance/feel of the bow at full draw so I wouldn't recommend drastically changing stabilizer weight or length without some time to train those muscles shooting before season.

Let em Fly!

I like running no stabilizer on my “newer” matthews traverse.
I played with angle and weights, I just run the sidebar now. Shoot’s great!
