The real problem with audits is that most folks will have to pay an accountant to do the administrative push-ups. Throw in some currency conversions, and before you know it you have some Chinese arithmetic.

Personal experience says that it costs a pile of money to prove you did things right.

It’s almost easier to be a bum, especially under this biden economy. Anyone know when we’re getting our next check?

What amazed me is I read that the IRS was going to demand a record of every transaction over $600,

$600 is nothing fellas. I wouldn't be surprised if there are over 1billion transactions a day over $600 in the US. You can't imagine what the electrical load and computer memory it's going to take to hold and analyze that data. Then 87000 new agents are going to interpret that data???????

This move is going to be a giant failure. First we know what federal government employees are like now. You need 10 of them working a week to do a job one private sector employee can do in a day. Second the American courts can't handle it.

This is a money grab again.

I didn’t vote for this. I could hold my nose right up until Jan 6. A line got crossed that day.

I have NEVER ONCE advocated for the growth of government in any way. I am consistent in my belief that the only way to control the unprecedented growth of government is to cut off the money thru the election of fiscal conservatives.

I held my nose and voted for a big government democrat, who predictably was able to get an even bigger economic retard elected.

Well with the DOJ/FBI blatantly attacking many conservative politicians, the Fact is very few true conservatives will be willing to run for elective office.....who in their right mind would subject themselves and families to the wrath of the liberals that are intrenched with the suits running the FBI? Our nation and freedoms within it are in Big Trouble folks , they are about to win if they haven't already.

Well Lik2hnt, you state its" every one's us"...I beg to differ in that . The scale of justice IS NOT blind. Read my prior post...its those who view the world from a conservative viewpoint that our DOJ/ FBI are persecuting, it is intimidating so many solid folks that lean right to NOT RUN for office. Our nation is in BIG TROUBLE. Don't disagree with the rest of your post and what the " Inflation reduction act" that has now been implemented doubling size of the IRS. How quickly we forget what the IRS did in intimidating / stopping 501c3 Tea Party organizations from getting approval.
