Am new on the site i decided to join the community to learn and share my little experience ... can anybody tell me more about this site

Fanadex6- Welcome! You'll find a good mix of folks with experience- some are reloading experts- always willing to lend advice, hunters of all types (rifle, muzzy, archery), and a broad selection of "local" experts. I've personally learned a lot about various states I don't hunt, and it's always interesting to see the tech-oriented geeks talk about their specialties. Utah and Colorado are highly represented, but most western states seem to have quite a few folks. It certainly is broader than Muleys- all big game is covered, along with the occasional small game/predator topic.

And yes, hunting politics is often discussed :)

Welcome to the site. Stick around long enough & you will sort things out. Most guys are willing to share help, so ask if you have questions.

Hopefully he sticks around. We don’t get to many posts or traffic in the NV forum.

That’s cuz Nevada is Jewish with their tags.

Yeah I said it.
I agree that they are very stingy with their NR tags. It's better than being Utah though and shooting out the game in each unit but 10% of em. No offense to the Utahans but most of you know it's true.

I agree also!!! I went all in this year & applied for EVERYTHING… I even have12 resident points for archery elk & still didn’t draw.
I’m close to becoming a Jack rabbit hunter if I don’t start drawing dining tags. ?

Aww, man. That's not encouraging. I was hoping for an archery elk tag sometime soon but at 6 points, umm, I'm thinking...would you like a partner for hunting jackrabbits? lol

I'm predicting a new trend in MM "How Big Is He?" threads:

Heck ya I could use a partner… I would never turn down help with a pack out. ?

Apparently we have these too. I looked online & couldn’t find a single one with antlers. Not a bad option thoughif you are just looking for a meat hunt. ?
