Blessed to be able to go hunting with my daughter. Her first big game animal hunt! It all came together opening day evening with a perfect 200yd shot. She was so excited. And.... some pics....

Congratulations, and great pictures. Kids always have great big smiles on grip and grin photos that really show how excited they are. Great memories.
Boy that suppressor sure makes that rifle Long. Does it add much front weight and change the rifles balance much?

Yes, her smile and excitement says it all! I am one proud dad for sure.

It is a long rifle.... she was shooting off of good shooting sticks so it wasn't so bad. Suppressor is a lighter one, 13oz. It does change the balance a little. The benifit for my daughter, shooting with a suppressor vs without, is huge though. It is quiet and doesn't scare her. It also helps a lot with reducing recoil. She shoots a .243. I know that doesn't kick a lot to begin with.... But she is a skinny lanky kid and the reduced recoil/sound really helped her shooting.

Do what it takes. I know some kids (adults now) that stopped hunting because of either recoil or noise.

That's awesome! Congrats to you and the young lady!! I got instant flashbacks of when my daughters both took their first big game animals, 2 antelope, 2 mulies and 2 bulls that same year a long long ago!!!! Cherish the memories forever cuz you wont get another chance.

Yes sir! The 1 on 1 time with my daughter was awesome. Being successful was just icing on the cake.

Congrats! My daughter is now 18 and off to college. I applaud you for using a suppressor. I use electronic ear muffs with my daughter so we can whisper and hear each other, but some form of ear protection is a must IMO.

I'm sure you'll be making lots of memories in the upcoming years, savor the time you have with your daughter!

Congrats on a great goat.I sure know that at 59 years old it hurts my shoulder anymore when I do a hot load on my 280 ackley improved. You are very smart to do anything you can for recoil and sound. My Dr. Says you better not shoot anymore without protection or you will go deaf in your left ear.
