Mar-A-Lago got raided by FBI

Then there's that, if the FBI is that "stupid", what else did they take? Or what else "aren't they in possession of"?

And are we supposed to believe them when they say they didn't? After lying about a "sideshow"?

I am not sure which is worse--taking classified information home illegally and then keeping it in the closet, or declassifying that top secret information so that it can be taken home legally and read at bedtime (probably the most fun Melania ever had in bed), even though declassification means that it becomes available to anyone who wants it.

Yeah, I feel better now, knowing Trump is keeping the nation's secrets safe.
How do you know it was top secret? Oh ya the government told you. A good little double standard liberal.

If Trump had classified/ top secret items he wasn't supposed to have, I don't have an issue with the raid. However, why wasn't Hillary raided/charged. What about that Hunter dude?

"I'm going to enforce all laws concerning the protection of classified information"

think you'll ever get over Trump or is this a mental disorder you'll have to deal with for the rest of your life?

i may be a conspiracy theory nut job but at least my emotional state isn't competently controlled by a man I've never met. its getting kinda sad with you people

Deflect and attack the other person. So typical when you can't come up with an actual defense.

PS. This is a thread about Trump and protected documents. The video is Trump talking about protected documents. It's exactly on point.

:ROFLMAO: still though. be interesting to do a word search on here and see just how many times you've typed the name Trump. for someone you despise so much the guys really got a hold on you.

you should get out more. big world out there. just look out for those old lady's in the cache valley Walmart parking lots. them bumper stickers are deadly!! :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

I don’t think that word means what you think it means….

And I don’t go to sleep thinking about ole diaper joe. I’d bet my paycheck ranting about how despicable trump is and what a tragedy Jan 6th was is grizzly’s version of pillow talk. It’s a serious mental disorder and you not taking it seriously is pretty insensitive

And when you find a “high road” on this web site please point it out for the group

Yep. They think about Trump like women who never let **** goes when they don't get their way. Too much estrogen?

You go to sleep at night thinking about me. I live rent free in your head. Your entire post content lately has been personal attacks about "mental disorder" or some "dumb or dishonest" line. Clearly, anything to avoid trying to justify Trump's issues.

Luckily you reside pretty soundly at the bottom of any list of people who's opinion I seek. I can't imagine anything worse than desiring the approval of a conspiracy theorist because I know the company I would then keep.

I don’t care how many My Pillows you’ve bitten, it has nothing to with the raid on the exiled and disgraced ex prezs’ sub-tropical walled and guarded compound.

Liz has more brass balls then most those men who buckled the party line or get voted out. she stayed honest and can hold her head up by not bow down and follow herd.
I'm sure she will drag him to hells gates. Hope she runs for the big office .
You all know that San Diego County has more people in it then the state of SD,ND,WYO,MT combined. Lots of votes for sure.
Please don't let Our Ca Governor run. He is a d#ck

Liz Cheney is Beto O'Rourke with blonde hair.

Just another in a long line of folks whose job it is to bang on conservatives

Ana Navarro, Steve Schmidt, .Joe Scarborough, the Lincoln Project.

Lots of money in that

Interesting hypothesis. Without mentioning her detestment for Trump (I think we both agree that exists, but it's only one aspect of her credentials), what are the bona fides showing you her "job is to bang on conservatives?"

In other words, what, in your opinion, are the three most offensive things she's done? You've been talking about her a lot lately, I'm wondering what it was that really got to you, or if it's primarily the Jan 6th stuff?

Flag this post. Let's talk after January when her new gig is announced.

1. Publically dragged her gay sister through the mud publically, for being gay. Without a doubt showed her true character.

2. Her very first vote, very first, was for land transfer easing

3. Voted against LWCF.

My dislike for her preceded her current grandstanding, but because she decided to make her crusade, I'm more vocal about her.

Now, give me the 3 reasons you are pro Cheney

She got paid. Look at the money she kept in her campaign account. She ended the campaign with 7 million in her account.

When she came into Congress she was worth 6 million, now she is worth 44. Good work if you can get it.

Yeah, getting the snot slapped out of her. She's already conceded. Interesting to see final tally.

We the people of wyoming have spoken.

Liz kept digging a deeper hole with the latest 2 campaign ads didn't go well with us in wyoming voters.

I texted Harriet a big huge congrats.

Liz will probably now move from Wyoming to Southern CA. and run for office on the Democrat ticket. Her and Mitt Romney have that in common among other things.

She has said she was wrong on her sister's situation. I know my feelings have morphed over the years regarding gay marriage, I don't hold against somebody the ability to change one's mind.

To your second and third points... Sadly, being pro-land transfer, and anti-LWCF is very much in-line with the "conservative" platform.

I could name a dozen people beloved at CPAC who share the same gay marriage/public land/LWCF records.

Your answer pretty much proved my point. If you want to say she's anti-public land and didn't back her gay sister and that makes you question her character, I totally get that.

I don't however agree that she's not conservative. Her voting record is decidedly conservative and she had climbed up to number three in the House and was on track to be Speaker if it wasn't for the Jan 6th Committee.

I don't know who I'll vote for for President next term. I know it won't be a Dem and I know it won't be a Repub that perpetuates the lie that the election was stolen. If the Repubs run a conservative that will tell the truth about the last election, I'll consider voting for that person. If they lie and say the last election was stolen just to get votes (like Cheney refused to do), I'll write-in like I usually do.

PS. I'm not pro-Cheney, other than I respect that she stuck to her guns rather than cave for political expediency. I respect that and believe we'd be a much better country if more politicians followed their true beliefs rather than read the polls and tried to only preserve their seats.

She knew it was her death knell, but she held with her convictions. I like that.

The Republican party platform is not anti-LWCF.
There was some members within the Republican party that did not support guaranteed permanent funding for LWCF.
You love LWCF and it was Trump that signed that bill.
Kind of ironic.

I didn't say being anti-LWCF was in the Republican Party platform, I said it was in-line with the conservative platform. I also said I could name a dozen people beloved by CPAC that are anti-LWCF, my point being that that isn't a nonconservative viewpoint. For reference, The Great American Outdoors Act, which funded LWCF, received 131 Nay votes in Congress, 129 of them were from Republicans.

If you want to see why people in the conservative wing of the Republican Party, like Ted Cruz, don't like LWCF, you can read about it on his website where they openly champion the privatization of public land... https://www.cruz.senate.gov/newsroo...to-pilot-and-limits-private-ownership-and-146

One final thing, Trump absolutely gets credit for signing GAOA. I said it here when it happened and I'll say it again. That doesn't mean he's a good President just because he signed one piece of legislation with dozens of bipartisan cosponsors. Luckily the Ted Cruz-types didn't get what they wanted, or it wouldn't have happened.

It was not an issue of conviction for Liz Cheney to hate Trump and go after him any way she could. It was a matter of hate and her family loyalty to the Bush family that wanted Jeb Bush to be President. Bush could have been the best president in the world and she would have still hated him. You need to pick a better winner then two face Liz.

I can respect someone who holds to their convictions in the face of certain defeat. My problem with her is she did so to the detriment of her constituents in Wyoming who overwhelming wanted her to represent THEM, not herself. If she was true to that, she would have spent more time convincing the people of Wyoming that the bad orange man needed a spanking. She clearly failed in that regard.

Now I'm no big Manchin fan, but he at least occasionally bucks his party for his constituents. Respect deserved.

You're correct. It is the platform. But she thrust herself to the front of the line. It had been Mike Lees spot, but she craved attention more.

My thoughts on gay marriage have changed too. But it's theoretical to me, my siblings aren't gay. It's one thing to privately have beliefs. It's another to do what she did. That's a character flaw. And I don't believe her "change of heart" happened until daddy had to publically rebuke her, and most likely privately remind her how she gets paid using the family name.

Further. While not a Wyomingite (I have my teeth, don't like meth, graduated 6th grade) it became pretty apparent she spent virtually no time in Wyoming, preferring DC instead. Similar to our own Senators, who remember home if the Jazz are in the playoffs.

Wyoming overwhelmingly supported Trump. Most likely will again. Her job, that she ran for, and desired, was to REPRESENT her state. If she can't, or wouldn't, she should of resigned.

Last. My neighbor, who has purple hearts on his license plates, did the right thing, and signed up straight out of high school. The neo cons, lead by the Bush's and Cheneys used him and thousands of other kids to create a profit stream for the likes of Halliburton(their service contract was huge). They sent him in unarmored humvees. An IED busted him up, and scrambled his brain so bad he really struggles maintaining a conversation still to this day. I pass his place everyday, and it's a reminder of how reprehensible some folks are. The Cheney, are second only to the bush name in that regards. Liz is just the next generation.

It became very obvious Liz Cheney is a transparent example of an elitist that is convinced that most people are too stupid to care for themselves. From a State with arguably the most rugged individualists in the free world, she is total convinced the hard working common men are incompetent morons. She is too dangerous, to either party, to have any influence in the Federal government.

Beware of your friends who think she hung the moon, they believe her opinion of you is correct.

Ya- I would have respected her "convictions" if she had resigned her position over them. Instead, she chose to not represent her constituents by an overwhelming, grotesque margin. In fact, she used her position to gain national exposure for a White House run, becoming a martyr for bad orange man haters. If I still lived in Wyoming, I'd be pissed.

I don't think it's the job of our elected officials in a democratic republic to merely read the public opinion polls and vote that way, that would be a straight democracy, but we're a democratic republic. We expect our elected officials to make up their own mind and be the expert, not just vote straight opinion. It's why the House of Representatives are elected every two years, so the public can quickly change course if they'd like. The Senate is supposed to be more insulated and deliberative.

With that said, I completely respect the rights of Wyoming voters to remove her from office if they don't feel she adequately represents their values.

It's how the system is set up. Some may disagree with the vote, but it worked as intended.

Of course they don't do opinion polls to determine how to vote. I agree with that. But that was the least of her downfall. Honestly, I'll wager she would have won her position back if she had simply voted her conscience, and then spent her time in Wyoming explaining her rationale and appealing to her constituents. Instead, she followed it up by being the face of the hearings and spending ZERO time with her constituents. She did not have to do that, and that is why she deserves no respect.

Other than her opposing Trump do you have some reason to defend her?
She's pro-gun, continues with the Reagan mantra of foreign policy (for better or worse, that's a different discussion), and will tell the truth when lying would have gotten her reelected.

Your post 650 above is, I think, a well-thought out position. I still disagree with the, "She's not a conservative," attack that a lot of people are saying. I think it's pretty clear she shares a brand of conservatism with several decades of Republican leaders.

Trump's brand has taken over the Republican Party, but to say she's not a conservative when she's in the vein of, but more conservative than, Bush, Romney, Reagan, McCain, etc... just doesn't stand up to scrutiny.

I realize that's one of your biggest criticisms of her, and I understand where you're coming from, but to me that verifies that she is, in fact, a conservative. She's just the version we have had for the last forty years, instead of the new Trump, Cruz, Paul, Lee, DeSantis version that is trying to take over today.

I think it's clear there's a battle inside of the Republican Party as to which side will win, we'll know in ten years who came out on top.

That battle started in years before Trump. The Tea Party started it.

It is a push to get away from the check pant, country club R, who were for open immigration, cheap labor, free trade(at expense of America), unlimited interventionism, and continuous foreign war.

Like it or not, and to my surprise, Trump's policies and accomplishments, pretty much made him the model for conservativism.

The same battle is in the D. The new progressives have zero tolerance for the elitist, limo liberals in their party.

All Liz has accomplished now aided by this boneheaded FBI raid has accomplished is to make sure Trump is the nominee.

I'm anti 70yr olds In the Whitehouse. Regardless

The Tea Party came and went, they were a flash in the pan. Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, and Rand Paul have accomplished nothing legislatively.

They each ran on a Tea Part fiscal conservatism platform and then the last Republican President ran record deficit spending and they objected but weren't successful in implementing their fiscal ideals. Before that, Romney was the nominee, hardly a Tea Party conservative.

Right now is the new battle, we know what way it's going currently, but it's too early to say if it sticks.

I would not put Reagan in with The Bushes, McCain and Romney. The Country Club Washington Republicans disliked him almost as much as they do Trump. Reagan just didn't have the personality that made it easy to attack him. Reagan and Trump are polar opposites personality wise, but when it came to many policies and voters Reagan was closer to Trump than he was the Bushes.

Exactly. Same logic I use when I scream, this has nothing to with Donald Trump. They treated the Bush’s, Reagan, MCCain, Romney, Palin the same as they treated Trump. The only difference is Trump warned them he would punch back…. harder……. and he did. He wasn’t the gentleman punching bag the others were. Once again……… if Mother Tresa ran as the GOP candidate, they’d call her a white right wing racist.

Trump tried to kept his word……. “You attack me I’ll attack you back…..”. He kept his word. I expect he will again. I’ll be disappointed if he doesn’t.

Not entirely true. They ran into the establishment. McConnell, Boehner. McCain calling them hobbits.

Your right about Romney. He was the catalyst for Trump. Being nice, never standing for anything, and losing doesn't advance any agenda.

Roe was overturned because of Trump. No matter which side your on, he accomplished on that one item, something no one had even come close to.

Trump destroying the liberal media, showed conservatives they don't have to play that game.

I prefer Desantis. Desantis is a younger, smarter, more savvy version of Trump, but the win and stay on offense style Desantis has, was trailblazed by Trump.

Conservatives decided it's not enough to kiss the chamber of commerce Azz, and talk about tax policy. They are in the school board meetings, on alternative media, and increasingly fighting back against woke corporations. The same ones the establishment R, love.

I read an article about the new politics being Federalist vs Anti federalist. Seems more correct than R vs D. R&D in the end are both about raw political power and $$$. They talk about differences, but rarely do anything, other than increase their bottom line.

Look at Cheney and Pelosi and Crenshaw.

Look at their net worth entering office, now look at it. That's the focus on DC.

Who on here will answer these questions? Grizz, buzz, blue, anyone?

I’m not sure I defended the process, but for sure any and all questions should be answered.

I’m inclined to trust the process more than trump.….well, because its trump. I’ve waited a long time to find a reason to trust him.

My interest in it is mainly the enjoyment of seeing him on the bbq grill. I hear it his turn to host the next bbq, and I’m looking forward to that one too.

Not entirely true. They ran into the establishment. McConnell, Boehner. McCain calling them hobbits.

The Romney, McCain, McConnell wing of the Republican party are happy being the Washington Generals of politics. Trump rejected that. One of the reason for all the hate.

I honestly believe it will only go so far.

He had " super duper, top secret, swear on your mom's grave" secrets in Melania's toy drawer. Imagine what he does know, and will drop at the first sign of real trouble.

Dude built in NY. You don't do that without learning about leverage.

Dude ain't the type to go down quiet

That POOR SOB needs all the millions you can send that for sure. If you can't run and win try buying one this time around just might work. keep sending him money he can use it to pay his lawyers with those donations.

I challenge the notion that trump was a builder. At best he could be called a developer, but in reality he’s now in the entertainment/hospitality business.

We built a lot of stuff in The City, and I don’t remember ever hearing of trump building anything there. He did develop something on that hazardous waste dump where he buried his ex-wife, but that’s in Jersey I think.

Not saying it didn’t happen, just that he’s not the guy you call if you want to throw up a tower.

We wouldn’t want to give builders from the NE a bad name, which nobody ever had to worry about until now :ROFLMAO:

You Trump haters make me laugh. What has the Democrats given you for the past 8-10 years. First it was Hillery until Trump knocked her off the tree stump. This was the Hillery that was driven to a state fair in the mid west while she was campaigning for president.
Hillary's comment to her secrete service driver was this. What the f##k are we doing here, there is no money here. This was Hillery that attacked the women that her husband was banging then claim she was an advocate for women rights.
Then they gave you sleepy Joe. A do nothing senator that made millions on shady deals with his family. Who is a closet racist, sexual abuser.
Both of them make Trump almost into a saint when compared to them. Now they are talking giving you another loser who is the nephew of vindictive Nancy Pelosi and so bent left he can not put on his right shoe. Like I said you make me laugh and believe that old P.T. Barnum was right about fools being born every minute.

Oh! then we have your glowing light, liz Cheney. Who came into politics worth 4 million and after a few short years is now worth 44 million. Must of been a lot of shady deals and her selling her office to get that rich that fast. She is a conservative like Pelosi is when it comes to making money and you fall for it hook, line, and sinker.

Bob, you do realize as a CA resident your support for a Republican President is no more that symbolic.

I intend to keep on hatin on trump. I’ll try to keep it humorous for you because we all need more laughter in our lives.

The Tea Party was put out of business by Lois Lerner and her merry band at IRS....with Obama's support

And what does the Democratic party do when they gain control again?
They bring in more merry band of IRS Agents to attack the Trumpsters.

I sent him money every month during his last campaign. I’m doing it again. It’s easy…… with auto pay. Well worth the donation……. Well worth it.

That wouldn't be the same Lois Lerner who conveniently lost 2 years worth of e-mails when her "computer crashed"?
Hmmm seems I've heard of this kind of calamity somewhere before.... can't put a finger on it? Hillary's e-mails? nah that's not it. Maybe it was the dozen Mueller Russia collusion FBI & DOJ investigators who's phones were magically wiped? Nah can't place it, still doesn't ring a bell
The same Lois Lerner that took the 5th? Isn't taking the 5th proof of guilt?

Can’t understand why you are complaining. They gave you more than you wanted. ???
More inflation
More illegals
More cost per gallon for fuel
More crime
More taxes
More people not working and
getting paid to do so at the
expense of those of use that
work
Do I need to go on? ????

Dang one more turns on Him. I bet it isn't the last one.
I wonder if the New York scandal will reach out for the top Guy.

Yeah, kinda quiet here about that. I thought I was the only one who thought your CFO flipping was sorta a big deal.

We’ll hear that this is exactly why he‘s running again - so that ordinary Americans aren’t entrapped by the alphabet soup of federal regulations and agencies who are out to get us.

More victim mentality headed our way.

Your hard earned $$ would be better off going to a homeless Vet or charity..... Why would anyone give a cent of their hard earned $$ to a millionaire/politician ?

Lumpy, while registered an R I’m really a libertarian. I have no issues with how you spend your money. God bless America (y)

Thanks blue. Until D Trump told us what he wanted to accomplish is 2015, I was about to give up on the Republican’ts but if the Rs ever abandon Trumps ideology and revert back to their previous semi-socialist behavior, I’ll go Independent.

I am surprised to see that Alex Jones is a RINO. I figured him to be a real patriot.
Sounds like he backs DeSantis and not Trump. Still great for this country.

If he supported, I dunno, Mitt Romney or Lisa Murkowski or that rhino from Wyoming, wassirname--Chunky, Chubby, Cheney--yeah, Cheney, then I'd say he's a RINO. But since ol Alex Jones is just an entertainer and not an officeholder, I'd say he's a Republican who decided to back another great Republican.

Here, some deep dark quakies to remind us to think about the wild places and the creatures who lurk there instead of life in the matrix.

It was part of Jones settlement in the school shooting law suit. It’s ok Gator, he can be your hero now.
Are sure you didn't send some money to a fellow trump follower.
Alex got just what he had coming, just maybe his hero will get the same deal.
But the millions he is getting can maybe pay his bill.

Maybe you’re right. RINO gets tossed around so much I thought it was anyone that doesn’t support Trump unconditionally.
