So I’m going antelope hunting with a guy he has 61,62,64,71,73 I’m thinking 73 will hold the most antelope just on what I’ve seen in April months shed hunting. He’s not looking for a monster buck only killed one mule deer before this. If anybody has any info I’d appreciate it. Hunting isn’t easy but I think we can get it done rather quickly.

I wish I could help, but I don’t have any intel that would be helpful. Hit up huntandfish through PM. He’s up there now on an archery deer hunt & has spent a lot of time up there.

There’s a ton of antelope in every unit of this hunt. I’ve seen more then any other part of the state. The hard part is that you look at so many high 60s to low 70s when you see a 75 he looks giant. I don’t think you will have a problem at all. If your struggling send me a pm and I can help.

I am hunting there also! Been scouting hard and there are large groups of goats in every unit. Your buddy won’t struggle to find one. I have yet to turn up a really big one. 6chuckar is spot on. This is one of the largest I have seen so-far. If only he had more length.

Spent days of scouting, was after one of the largest bucks I could find (around 75 inches). I looked in a spotter at 200-300 different bucks since June. I definitely don’t think this unit was what it once was. Seemed to be lots of tiny bucks this year. I saw the buck I shot while scouting. I told myself I would take this buck because he was different.

What do you think he scores? He's closer to 80" than 70" aint he? I'd bet he's closer to 80 than 75 even, always hard to tell with one pic though. he'd get my itchy trigger finger in trouble.

Yeah i figured he was 76-77. as long as he was at least 15". Anthing over that is pushing him further (strictly my opinion). Always curious what others think on score vs what I see on Antelope. Part of my on going education with these critters lol
