In all pics there is plenty to eat, but he seems thin. Maybe older deer?

Nice buck! He's got a lot of height going on and seems like he has good mass (even taking the velvet into account). I think he grosses right around 180"

183"... he's an opening day buck on my LE hunt here in Utah this year. Great frame and a cheater.? Hard to pass that... not to mention having your kid there.!

I think people are way underestimating this buck. Good mass, good length, good eye guards with a kicker. I think he’ll go 194”

Give you all a hint, which I was way surprised on. Before I took the first measurement I told my dad that this first measurement will be a big indication of score. Main beams were 26” & 26 1/2”…

I know I'm low then I only gave him 23, that puts him over 190. Great buck congrats.

I had watched this buck for a few weeks and was certain he was over 180”, even when I walked up to him after the kill I was thinking low 180’s. But once I measured the beams I knew I was low on my guess. 26” beams and over 38” of mass. Over 6 inches of brow and 4 inches of trash can add up quick on just about any buck. Very pleased with being able to harvest him, probably my best all around built buck.
I really don’t put much into score, I’ll take a huge frame over score any day. Big frames just look more impressive on the wall. But I do like testing my judging abilities, it tells what a buck actually is, and helps you become a better judge in the field.
Anyways, thanks for playing. 190ish ended up being a pretty close guess.

The other deceptive thing that I forgot to include is even though the back forks are not that deep, the length of the beam before they split is above average.
