great buck. As i put 2 and 2 together looking at a carcass next to the road with all the ribs and meat on them with a hole in the same place as yours, you may not know that is a violation, and before you put your pic on line, if that is yours, you may want to do a better job of putting your carcass out of site if your going to leave meat on it.

That's an interesting assumption Wildfin. While I'm not sure an idiotic post like this deserves a response, I will humor you. I can promise you we were nowhere near a road and all useable meat was removed from the carcass. I don't remember even saying which area we were in or even which X zone for that matter. While I'm not disputing you might've seen a carcass next to the road, it wasn't from this deer. You might need to go back to school and actually figure out what 2 and 2 equals before you open your mouth with trash.

first off the meat was on it, the shot was same place , the hooves size would match, it was visible from a road, there isn't much more to put 2 and 2 together, and I did direct the post to you only if it was you, I didn't realize wonton waste was ok for so many , its not for me or any state. rtoreson I'm glade to hear your not an idiot, but someone in x5b is.

Why wouldn't you just make a separate post about what you saw instead of pissing all over someones success post? Makes absolutely no sense to me. Especially, when you have no clue of where this buck was killed.

Waste is absolutely not OK. Because you got called out for a stupid assumption, everyone is ok with waste? You should seek some counseling. Accusing someone of it because the 2 deer had similar arrow hole locations is idiotic. Those are called the vitals. Most folks shoot the deer there, behind the shoulder. Unless you know the OP and where he was hunting how the **** would you make that assumption? X zones cover a large amount of the state. Everyone is a CSI these days.

As D8 mentioned, I think your delivery here was a bit off. Your spidey sense pointed you in the wrong direction on this one. We were nowhere near X5b. Pretty sure most true sportsman are very ethical with how they take care of their harvested animals. Obviously, there are always exceptions. I just wanted to post some neat pics of a successful hunt. While some of these posts definitely gave me a chuckle, let’s see some more buck pics! I know this isn’t the only buck that hit the dirt!

I didn’t bow hunt this year for the first time in over 30 years. Drew an x4 tag and lost motivation to hunt B zone. The fire up there burnt every place I have ever hunted or camped with much of it left looking like the moon. So I’m sitting around waiting till October. November cow hunt will be fun too.
 
That’s a great CA buck!

I’ve been out 5 days in the infamous D zones and haven’t seen a legal buck yet. My archery deer season is over though as I’m off to chase elk in NM this week.
