any one know the ass hat that rides a horse all over with his bow in his lap, arrow nocked ? my son and I backpacked in a day early for deer and found a nice buck for opening morning. first light we are only 150 yards from him as it gets light . when up above us the sound of rolling rocks and metal shoes on rock sends the buck out of the canyon. this dip even see's us and doesnt give a **** and rides right down the ridge and cuts in front of us then goes on up the canyon and pushes out another buck 3 other guys were stocking. he then rides straight at a third buck (smallest 4 on the mountain) and pushes it over a ridge, rides up to the tree it was feeding by ties up his horse and takes his fat ass on a walk into the trees where he had just pushed the deer. Other guys really wanted to untie his horse and make him walk. course comes back emtpty about 20 minutes later and rides on down the canyon. we ran into several guys who were all way cool and they knew we had that buck pegged but this guy had no regard for anyone else on the mountain that day. I hear he does the same crap every year. supprised nobody has pulled him down and given him a leason in courtesy.

Normally, I put up with a lot of idiocy. However, as it sounds like this guy might now be infamous for doing this, he needs to be reported. Interfering with a hunt is against the law (at least I think it is) here in Utah... Also, I have a feeling he carries a bow pretending to be a hunter, but we all know you can't hunt anywhere in Utah every year anymore... :ROFLMAO::cry:

so... Find him, follow him, report him.

Report him for what? Riding a horse and being to noisy? Anyone that hunts public land general season deer in Utah has had deer blown out by other hunters. It sucks, but it’s just the reality of it. Actually you can hunt deer every year in Utah. My question is if these guys that he hears from says he does it every year why hunt the same canyon as him if he blows your hunt every year?

People are strange. The horse guy sounds like a jerk but really not much could be done. especially if he has a tag.

Bess, that flatbrimmer riding an ATV with a nocked arrow has to be the bravest thing I've ever heard someone do. They clearly don't understand what a broadhead is capable of.

Also why did Founder get sick of the ol T word. It's kinda endearing at some point. If you've lived in tar..... dratville your entire life you understand it's very fitting of many of the inhabitants.

Yes scope!

There Were Several Things That Went Through My Mind Real Quick when I First Seen Him!

None Of Them Were Good!

And All Were invisions Related To An Accident With That Arrow Nocked On That ATV!

But I Guess He Passed His Ethics Class/Hunters Safety?

There’s Weetods all over the hills. Some on the spectrum, some not…Just gotta find a way to pencil said idiots into your hunt so you are not disappointed when it happens.

Right, right. Good luck trying to prove he intentionally interfered with anyone’s hunt. Ask the guy on the horse and he probably says the other guys interfered with his hunt. It’s stupid stuff like this that takes time away from our already limited fish and game officers. I’d rather see them use there time doing something meaningful,
