I was setting up- walking my target stand out 100 yards- when I turned around I saw him up a draw. So went back to truck, grabbed camera and headed to within 250 yards of him before the cows noticed me and started running. He gave me one good broadside view and then ran after 'em!Imagine being so horny you don't even care about a hunter with a rifle?
Ya, he was distracted for sure!

Had something similar happened to me. Only it was a black bear. Walked out to hang my target and there he was staring at me right where I wanted to hang my target.
I was only 30yds from him until something told to look ahead. Crazy!

I went to practice with my bow during archery season one year and a nice 3 point buck stepped out from behind the dirt hill my target was sitting on. He'd been eating apples fallen from the neighbor's tree.
He was lucky we were in city limits because I was itching to kill a buck that year.
