Wolf reintroduction location proposal

There is an article in the Grand Junction Daily sentinel about "surprising" possible area for reintroduction.....Aspen, Vail Gunnison. They voted for em now they be the first to get them. I hear wolves love poodle on a stick ?
 
I’ve doubt wolves have had poodle on a stick. So I’m not sure where you get your information.
 
Straight from the wolf's mouth. No reliable second hand trash here ! The article also states that the pack that was in the Walden area is alive and well. Someone got photos recently and all seven were accounted for.

According to the article Gunnison would be the Southern boundary of a big block of land. There are some in Creste Butte that deserve wolves but not Gunnison in my opinion. One can just imagine them. on the wintering grounds around Blue Mesa...disaster !
 
I mean it’s where they will drop them off, last I checked those dogs will go where they want when they want. Unless they stick them in a impassable basin or something they will head out… breck and vail could be interesting though ? folks can’t run too fast in ski boots lol
 
Doesn’t matter where they drop them off. They’ll go where they want to go.

They often travel 20 to 30 miles per day, but may cover over 100 miles in a day when prey is scarce.
 
At least they will not have to travel very far to reach Boulder (The Republic of). There are very few businesses in the proposed area that are dependent on big game hunting vs. Meeker & Craig.
