Four good joints

left in me, not counting fingers.
Both hips are ok, and my left knee is good. I think my right ankle is ok too.

Friday I will go under the knife again to fix my left hand and left elbow. Home the same day.
Jerking actions cause that in the hand.

Good luck with your surgery. It takes so long to recover the older you are. Hopefully your surgeon will give you the pain meds you need. Doctors are so worried about addiction that many now don’t allow you what you need.

And here I thought we was talking about rolling some smoke. Good luck with the surgery mannnnn

Good luck! I hope this doesn't end your hunting season
That is my biggest concern, but, this condition being permanent is kind of a bigger deal.

I have some nerve damage to my left elbow and the funny bone is sorta turned on. My pinky and ring finger are numb. So, the doc is gonna go in to my elbow and wrist and move the nerve over a bit. Just for good measure, he's gonna toss in a wart removal (it is right where he needs to make the cut) and correct some carpal tunnel. Grip strength for my left hand is not what it should be. Doc says that is an easy fix by giving the ulnar nerve a new place to call home.

The ulnar nerve gives input to the little finger. It also gives input to the ring finger. FWIW, the medial nerve gives input to the rest of the hand and also to the ring finger.

I think my season is over. But, I'm still prepping the camper anyway.

I had the ulnar nerves moved on both elbows about a year and a half ago. As well as a torn tendon repair and tendonitis repair. If your doc doesn't do any work on your tendons, you should heal pretty quick. Took me a long time to gain strength again.
