First time as a non-res to New Mexico. What beautiful country, tons of elk and the rut was really turned on. Had the 2nd hunt up north and I passed on 8 different bulls about the same size so after a long sleepless night because of a rut fest right behind the tent. I decided to walk out camp and kill the bull that wouldn’t let me sleep.

Number 9 didn’t get a pass. Way fun hunt and I can’t wait to draw again.

Very nice bull , way to hunt! I had the first hunt and had a blast , the mtn beat me up but was in elk most days , just never got to draw back.
