I had to post this after seeing the post of the woman that killed a husky. My nephews buddy doctored this picture after our antelope hunt this year. It makes me laugh every time I look at it. He looks so damn happy. ?

Drywall empire? Hossbur?
Yes but you can rest assured that it was NOT an outfitted hunt because he knows it's only for fat old men who can't shoot and money hungry guides who don't care about the hunter....err I mean shooter.

No minds can be changed when one party knows everything but yet has never done it.

I'm sure he doesn't want to rock my new trophy room now. :ROFLMAO:

It's real, BeanMan. He had an 'Any Elephant' tag in Wyoming.
Thanks Eel… The guys on here have no clue how much work went into locating & putting together a successful hunt on this trophy of a lifetime. For one, baby elephants aren’t just running around on every hillside that you glass in Wyoming. We hunted for 4 long days before glassing up this beast & stalked him for almost 3 miles before he slipped up & gave my nephew a 1,328 yard broadside shot. ???

I've known guys who have hunted their entire lives in Wyoming and have yet to see an elephant. That's how elusive they are.
That's because they did not do any corner hoping, if you get on some of that land them big ranches control then you will see baby elephant's. Hunters think them big land owners don't want you jumping corners because they are protecting the elk for them selves no, they just dont want everyone finding out about the population of baby elephant's.
Elusive yes but they are out there.

Funny you should mention that. I have a friend who delivers propane to ranches in Wyoming and he told me he peeked into a barn one day and swears he saw a pile of ivory tusks in one corner. I thought he was smoking pot again.

Once the season starts, all the elephants head straight to private. They've played this game before!
The G&F issues more tags than animals available because they know the private land will protect the herds.
To actually see them in the wild, you have to go well before the season....

Spoken like a true road hunter. Get your fat backside off the wheeler and walk a bit and you can still find the eles on public even after the season opens
