Of course, SCI is all abuzz about the new 650" bull from Broadmouth Canyon Ranch, outside Blackfoot. How the heck did he pack that around???

Real fair chase hunters, not so much, but it is still impressive!!!.

Was that elks mama fooling around with a moose? Haha ? unreal. Butchering a farm raised elk. I’d rather buy corn finished beef

Makes ya wonder if they are juicing these critters? Or I guess it’s possible to selectively breed for traits, so these outfits are most likely trying.

Don’t know why they wouldn’t.

I guess if you can get awards for domestic breeding for bigger and better ribeye steaks, Thanksgiving turkeys, faster/quicker horses it’s not too surprising some folks want do it with anlter size as well. More power to’em I guess.

It's a big outfit. I remember talking to homeboy at the hunting shows years ago and gave him sh*t about being a Bronco. If you don't care about hunting behind a huge property that is fenced, this seems like a great property, especially for elk.

20-25 years ago, all that country belonged to a friend's family. It was about 12-14K acres, 3 creeks and a dozen ponds and the prettiest deer/elk/moose habitat you could imagine. Open to hunting. They got to arguing about money, and sold it all. A year later, high fence went up, and sportmen's opportunities ceased!!

Damn NFL fans!

To each his own I guess..
To me it’s nothing to brag about, but to others they can tell their friends how great of hunters they are.
Kind of like the tv hunters buying 1000’s of acres in Iowa and transplanting high fence deer into their herd. Granted, it improves the genetics but do they really get excited shooting a 200”+ deer every year? Used to be a 170” whitetail was 1 in a million, but now the celebs shoot a couple a year.

Luckily they pulled the gps ear tag out prior to.pics.

Rulon is a HELL of a guy.

Pulled the WLH guiding on a moose years back(killed out of bounds, after season).

His lodge in Weber county he listed as a ag shed to avoid the taxes and regs for lodges.
