Jealous of Blank’s dinners. Had very simple dinners the last couple nights. Mtn Goat cheese burger on sourdough last night. Tonight I experimented with the new air fryer my wife just bought. Mini pizzas. Toasted sourdough with homemade meat spaghetti sauce and cheese. Quick and simple, once you have the spaghetti sauce made. ?

Nothing wrong with those, looks good. Wish I could do red onions, but they tear me up. I have to pickle them, and then I love them

While I admire your dedication to spicy brown mustard, I sure hope there's a dog hiding under there. Chili and cheese whiz might be asking a little, but I've been known to enjoy worse (with a cold one)!!!

Don’t feel bad about what you eat. My son is VERY impatient when he is hungry. Few times I have caught him eating refried beans cold out of the can. When I ask him why he at least doesn’t microwave it to get it warm he tells me that takes to much time. ????

I’m all about simple meals. I usually get half of my animal made into Hamburger. I like it with no fat added that way it’s healthier and I can control the amount when added. I make all sorts of things with the hamburger. Usually tacos but it’s so flexible, you can do whatever you want with what you have and it’s doesn’t take long and the clean up is fast. All kinds of positives with hamburger. I like mushrooms, but usually run out fast before I make it to the grocery store. I can add bacon, green chili, cilantro, onions, eggs and more. I can make tacos, hamburgers, hamburger helper, pasta and on and on. Sometimes I just eat ground meat straight up, seasoned with items and vegetables. I love to experiment with different ways. Along with hamburger, I get a great deal made up into jalapeño, cheddar summer sausage. It doesn’t get any simpler than summer sausage when all you need is a knife.

That reminds me of when I worked as a seasonal trail crew member with the Forest Service. We worked 8 days straight while camping on the trail. I was all about simple back then. I got lunch meat and bread for the first few days while the ice remained frozen and then I switched to can food. The can food was usually Ranch Style Beans, I love them. The way I cooked it or warmed them up was just pop the top and set the can right on the burner and stir occasionally. I used my work gloves that were the heavy leather ones used for fire fighting to protect my hand from the heat while I ate it. It was so simple, I just had a spoon to clean and a can to throw away.

At least you heated the can food up. My son was to impatient.

I like simple too. A pound of hamburger, a can or two of chili con carne, and a can of diced tomatoes. Done. That's enough for two days. I do like to heat it up though. :)

I’ve tried it several places in Utah, a couple in Idaho and in upper New York. Family favorite
