People will “ BELIEVE” what they chose , and when presented with facts only those with any type of intellect can grasp those facts. Contrary to popular belief fact is fact and can’t be altered by belief or feeling.

i agree with you CenterFire, Trump is hurting the party. we need to get away from far right wingers. as bad as this governor is and to still get re-elected, i honestly don't ever see another republican getting elected in NM. I have lost faith in the people of this state. they lack the intelligence to know what they are voting for. i think without the abortion rulling it might have been a different election. i know that the constitution doesn't protect abortion but that was stupid. besides, i'm a catholic and a republican, but i'm pro abortion. too many kids are being brought into this world and not cared for. abortion was the only thing that the dems had to run on and it was enough. most of the women in the country voted dem because of it. now that the dems are in control we'll be seeing more mass shootings again. gun control is a major part of their agenda.

The GOP made a bargain with the devil when they backed Trump in 2016, and damned themselves when they repeatedly turned down chances to rid themselves of him. McConnell had his chance to end it and chickened out. He even said in the Senate chambers that Trump was responsible for his actions and that he could be held "accountable" in the "criminal justice system" and that "former presidents are not immune."

If he would've convicted in the Senate Trial, McConnell would almost certainly have the majority right now. He made his bed, now he can sleep in it.

All his supporters are going to eventually have to make a decision to vote for either Trump or DeSantis. The voters will decide where the GOP goes from here.

And SOME people think killing a deer with an arrow is LITTERALLY the most evil thing you can do. Guess everyone has their opinions and there’s extremes on both sides.
Glad the anti-hunting opinion hasn’t YET affected my ability to do what I want, I know I’d be pissed if it did.

Science states otherwise relative to the unborn incase anyone cares to research it...

I didn't give a value comparison to the two. Just glad I was never a scared 17 year old girl that had to be faced with an awful decision to make that was limited by old dudes in political office quoting Jesus.
Got news for you, a total ban on abortion, as I'm guessing you would strongly support, is considered an extreme stance by many, if not most, of the voting public. That's probably one (of 2) reasons Republicans did much poorer on this midterm than expected, just my opinion as a RINO.
There's reasonable compromises on the subject that would appeal to many move voters. If Republicans can modify their stance on that I bet they win more elections. If you disagree, keep voting for Trump supporting election deniers and cross your fingers.

Ronchetti did change that stance. He ran on some kind of compromise that would address all parties concerned. His opponent ran on full term.

It's a complicated topic to have a meaningful debate on.

Yes, I THINK that is a much better stance to take as a party, but Ronchetti ran as a Republican in a very blue NM.

Dang, now I'm really confused. Can't tell if I'm a sheep or a rino. I do think I'm gonna bow out now. This bickering is 100% symbolic of where the Republican party is now and I doubt its gonna get any better anytime soon.
 
I couldn't tell you if Trump is a good guy or a bad guy. Never met him. What I do knows that the people that oppose him are evil, corrupt and have continuously put out lies. These same people were lined out the door to kiss his azz prior to him getting into politics.
The other thing I know as fact is that the ones that fall for their lies year after year are weak minded or in some cases to cowardly think for themselves.
Lastly, the ones that feel it is necessary to appease these groups are the most dangerous of all.

Can guarantee you I'm not an evil person, I'm not a babykiller as Bugle may believe. I've never played a partner in an abortion and am strongly against late term abortions, but I'm not absolute enough to think there aren't rare medical situations where that awful decision has be be considered. As I've stated, there's probably a compromise out there that will appeal to most, extremes will never be satisfied.

In regard to the voter fraud, seems convienent how candidates talk the most about it after they lost a race, don't hear much about it when they win. Talk of widespread voter fraud cost Republicans votes, maybe it gained some too, but I bet it was a net loss.
I'm sure someone is going to call me a lib, it's not gonna hurt my feelings. What is fact is that I'm a registered Republican, current classification would be a Rino. There plenty of policies on the left I think are BS, but I'm most frustrated with the direction the Republican party is taking because it's where I lean. If you think I'm weak minded because I'm willing to compromise on certain subjects, I think that's unfortunate, compromise is part of life. Pushing aside the moderates in the party seems like a good way to lose in the future because you're gonna need most of that vote to win.

Thinking the ones he addressed in his post are the ones in D.C. and the ones that follow those in D.C. . Not the ones who disagree or disapprove on Trump's policy or personality...

I see someone who is still kissing his azz…how embarrassing. Trump doesn’t care about you or anyone else who votes for him. The dude is a narcissist who only cares about himself and nearly everyone that he endorsed went down in flames. If you care about conservative policies and want someone that can actually make them a reality then vote Desantis.
