What a sweet buck that @boomer shared in the "Bucks that survived" thread. What do you all think this one would score? Over 200"?

It would depend on who measures him. He’s really close, but I’d guess if he was measured by an official scorer, he’d come up a smidge short. He’s way bigger than his score though. Very impressive deer

Great mass, but IMHO he is south of 200 because his main frame is weak. But I agree, he would happily go on most guys wall.

Great looking rack but wont make 200 , I love the character of the rack ,stickers and all .Sometimes looks outscores inches to me

Probably in the minority here, but character always trumps score in my opinion. That is a beautiful deer.

A couple more. For what it's worth, I think his main frame is in the low 180's with about 14" of extras puts him really close, but just shy of 200. Not the biggest on the range this year, but a cool buck in my book.

I'd definitely shoot that buck no questions asked! But I don't think he's even remotely close to 200". Maybe 12" & 14" G2's and 5" and 6" G4's? His mass is insane, but no extravagant point length on any tine.

Okay yeah, after seeing the additional pictures, he's nowhere near 200" for sure. Maybe a 170" frame with 10" of extras?

Like others have said, he doesn’t have the main frame to supply the good numbers but he’s BIG.
I would shoot that buck all day long if standing right beside a 200 typical.

Officially not 200" IMHO BUT.... if someone kills him, bring him hither and I'll make him score whatever you want.

I do that with all my critters to make me feel better.

Score shmore... I'd shoot him and he'd be on my wall faster than you could say "nice buck"!

If this pic of the buck was harvested and published in the 2009-2014 Huntin Fool Magazine, it would go 225’’! Have you ever read and seen what scores animals were given in the story lines early on in the Huntin Fool?
