You are given 1 random OTC/general any weapon deer tag in the west with plenty of public land, (not your choice of tag, just completely random). The goal is to shoot a 170 plus buck. This would be the only tag you get for the season and you can dedicate your time to it. To sweeten the pot you get a Henry's Mountain premium tag if you make it happen, but if you don't, you can't hunt deer for 2 years.

I would want the assurance that there are at least a couple 170+ bucks on the general unit on huntable land, but if that is the case, I feel fairly confident I could get it done.

2 years to not hunt deer is not a terrible penalty if I don’t get it done and the “carrot” of a premium Henry’s tag if I do is going to ensure I go “balls out” until the job is done.

Where can I sign up for this deal???

Well, if the one random tag in the west is the Olympic peninsula in western Washington I’d have to say no can’t do it. So I’d have to agree the above. Random tag in a unit where there actually a 170 buck, yup.

Yes, but you also have to take PT Sniffers with you as your hunting partner.
