I couldn’t agree more with your sentiments, im guessing the Fire Bull seasoning line of kitchen meat prep must haves would fall in that category of “BS they Peddle”

Not sure who the cross eyed kid is that got assigned labeling duty for the HUSH boys, but I might just have to swallow my pride and place an order.

I actually met that dude Connor on my LE elk hunt. No idea who he was. Just a random dude I ran into on a glassing knob. We exchanged numbers. He spent a week helping his brother kill a bull. Then dropped me pins for spots to check out, and offered to help pack my bull out as well. Seemed like a genuine, selfless guy honestly. I’m glad he killed that buck and was honestly a little bummed to find out he was best buds with Martin lol. Major let down haha. But he seemed deserving of a great animal.

And who can’t shoot 70 yards with a bow anyways though. That’s child’s play ??

I don't see where people are personally attacking Conner but just the way this hunt has been handled and many others Martin has been associated with. Here's some of the things I see people having a problem with. 1) Conner was at work behind a desk and gets a call from a spotter that his #1 buck has been found. Although there's another hunter at the time on the buck, they still rush up there to surround it. 2) Conner is guided right into the buck from the spotter below. He becomes more of the shooter than the hunter 3) within 48 hours of the buck being killed, they are on the national stage telling the story and hyping their Instagram accounts. 3) Martin will be using this buck to further his social media career, even though he had nothing to do with helping kill that buck on that afternoon. Those are some of the things people are having a problem with.

I think, so long as it isn't based on hearsay, it's perfectly fine to criticize people in the public spectrum. Influencers are putting their stuff out there for people to see. People are allowed to judge it for what they believe it to be. I personally don't care for the culture of social media hunting influencers.

Oh for sure. All justified reasons as well IMO. I honestly haven’t listened to the podcast on how it all went down. I just think Martin is a huge narcissistic D-bag. So anyone associated with him must also be somewhat the same lol. But anyways, I gotta get off of here so I’m not late to watch his second YouTube video about a buck that he didn’t kill and the reasons he didn’t kill it… and get another set of replica antlers from some deer that he also didn’t kill.

Using a kill photo behind a buck that you didn’t kill, as the face of a 30 minute video bashing the guy that actually killed it (and let you take the photo with it) and making excuses why you couldn’t kill it, even though you’ve never killed a single deer with a bow…. Now that’s magical hahahaha.

If you “spot” this deer on the extended, then why are you calling someone else to go shoot it? It’s not like it’s a limited entry tag.

I’m confused. Is there some sort of pact made before the season starts? Did someone draw a short straw? What’s the end game here? Just clicks? Seems like the people out for the most clicks are first to $itch because people are in their spots the following year(s).

This behavior is characteristic of those who iron and starch their brims. No need to be confused. The “bro’s club” commands respect. The flatter the brim, the higher ranked you become, giving you mafia leader status. At this level, even the lower ranked bro’s must surrender the slightest of valuables such as their gf’s and up to but not limited to high caliber front bucks.

Short answer, the guy who spotted the buck is a friend of Connor's. He was out there spotting for his buddy even though he didn't have a tag. Incredible buck. The "hunt"was summed up very well by ridgetops...

Shooting over 50 yrds with a bow is simply just **** hunting ?‍

of course you can kill with an arrow 100+ yrds and you can wing bullets 1300 yrds and kill stuff. I think bragging about being a “distance shooter” is bragging about how shitty of a hunter you are. These are just my standards, I could careless if a bunch of beta male influencers don’t share my stance ?

All I'm saying is you come on here and make a stupid comment you're going to get feedback. And yes when I have an archery tag I'll practice all summer long out to 100 yards so that 60-80 yard shot feels pretty easy, I'll shoot my rifles out to 1000 yards as well. Not my problem if you don't have the same skill set to do the same thing.

Haha I haven't watched it, but I probably will eventually. Just because I like big deer. I do know what you mean though. I try to document a lot of my hunts and kill shots and the ups and downs, but just not for the same purpose. Or maybe it is and I'm just trying to justify it now ?

The problem is you think it’s a “skill set” not to get close as possible. Therefore you wound more animals than you harvest. I’d definitely be willing to compare skill set and trophy’s on the wall ?
