So boyz, where’s the best unit to pillage on Oct 7th next year? Bess? Dillon?

Can’t wait to welcome these bulls to the “general” side of things!!!!! Get them bull/cow ratios down on the first morning. I get my new .338 Lapua mañana. Let’s do this!!!!

Well If I were you.

I would get your guides license, call the southeast division janitor, and get permission to hunt one of the units that has a deferred transfer.

I also heard a rumor that if you have a guides license, you can take LE hunters on CWMUs….. just rumors though??

Best See Which Other Units They Open Up To Finish Destroying!

They'll Kill The Last Two Decent Bulls That Are Left On Anthro!

And What a Sshiit Show It Will Be!

Bess you better hold off another year for your SJ tag so you can get you a good bull on Anthro this year. Get your LE tag for the low low price of $50

15,000 for the “early” and unlimited “late”? Did I read that right?

How long till Gewburg is making an episode of Fresh Tracks—-telling the world where to go and ruin what’s already gone to $hit?

Imagine you’re waiting with high points to draw a LE elk tag, then the DNR opens up a bunch of these units to open bull in the name of “opportunity”. Imagine what that will do to the point creep.. keep waiting on your LE tag a little longer

If your waiting with high points you probably wasn't waiting for these units so it has no effect on you.

I suggest doing a little research on each of the units. Most are just small pieces of bigger units, and the ones that aren't didn't have much demand so they took less points to begin with.

So a person with high points odds have not changed one bit. It may have cut into a few of the easier to draw hunts. But probably not much.

My point is it's not having as much effect as you think it is.

Moving these to OTC units is not going to impact point creep in the least. There will be more LE elk tags this year than there was last year. And there will be even more LE elk tags in 2024 than there will be next year.

The increase on point creep with this change is a giant nothing-burger. There are logical reasons to oppose the changes, but point creep isn’t one of them.
