Unreal!!! How horrible can someone be?

I knew them well. The kids were in my kids school and church classes. They were such an awesome family and a bright spot in our neighborhood. Tausha was always laughing, joking, and was friends with everyone. We are all in shock and heartbroken.

I just asked yer pa if you knew them. he said yes and then some details and now I see that you did know them well.
So sad, Bigwif, so sad!

He must have been in a darker place than I can even imagine and I've been through a few dark times in my life.

That guy was a weak human being if he can't handle a divorce. So sad for the family. He's in hell paying the price I'd say.

Somewhere the spectrum just turns black.

There really no measurable end on this earth to pain, evil, and depravity we can encounter.

I have never understood the people who see this and question an existence of God. For me it pushes me closer to him.

He hided a side of himself that NO One saw hard to believe a man would take the lives of his whole family.

Doesn't bother me one bit if someone wants to say something nice about him. People loved him and that love endures no matter how sideways and f-ed up he got.

Nothing good will come from the disgust and anger.

Put him in the ground and keep moving forward.

Sounds like a great guy….other than that one incident…

“Each of these children were truly a cherished miracle to them,” it added. “Michael made it a point to spend quality time with each and every one of his children. Michael enjoyed making memories with the family.”

Nailed it

That last memory the children have is a doozy! Sick mofo's......who has the ability to separate their mind from what he did in order to write a positive obit? It would be a hard pass if they asked me.

Ya, his divorce was imminent but I'm thinking there had to be some deep dark secret he didn't want exposed for him to fall like that.

Mental illness? Possibly, but I think it's more insidious and dark than that.

The truth may never be known but I'm guessing it will be discovered and reported over time.

Tough tough deal for an otherwise great family (wife and kids).

No single person alive or on this forum has an inkling of what was going on in the mind of this guy. Emotional and mental distress is something entering a new light and yet to be understood in today's day and age.

My choice is to let God decide what should be done and how it should be judged instead of assuming I know.

Sad we have to deal with the stuff today that we do...

The guy could have been ****** up in the head for a very long time. Nobody would have thought he will do that. It feels sad and horrible to hear this.

He had a thought-out plan.

"Tausha’s sister-in-law, Jennie Earl, told The Associated Press that Michael had removed all guns from the home before the shootings.

"She said the lack of access to firearms left Tausha Haight, her mother and her children more “vulnerable.”

I do mostly agree with this…..but…I think no obit for him would have been more appropriate.
