Selling “hunt consultation” packages?

So curious what is the current line in sand for what is permissible for an individual to sell hunting information packages in WY without being a registered/licensed guide/outfitter in the state? I know Founder has history with this topic but I lost track on the details on the law and any enforcement.

my thoughts - would a packet of information allow a non res to hunt wilderness areas by himself? If not it's not guiding and no license should be required.

But you can sell glassing locations and tell them to keep looking if they get discouraged apparently

Thanks. So “geographic location information”….clear as mud. Seems easy to work around.

You sell them your labor for compiling the information as a consultant. Afterall, that's what an outfitter is really doing...

That's how commercial meat processors can recover the loss for abandoned game animals. They sell the labor it cost to process the animal, not the animal itself.
