Wondering if those of you who have purchased knives from RELH would be willing to post pictures of your knives. Would like to buy some for Christmas presents for my son, daughter, and son-in-law. I have already decided on the drop point S30V stainless steel. It’s the handles I am mainly interested in seeing. From what I have seen so far my top 4 are:

Any others?
Thanks

Getting a knife from RELH is kind of like going to a restaurant. You order what you want and then when you see what other people ordered, you wish you ordered that. I guess that's why people order more than one.

This might be a bit of an ask, but LIK2HNT and PCPython, what are the handles of your knives made of?

Thanks!
#1- Poly resin with magnolia buds inlaid.
#2 and #3- Cocobolo wood
#4 and #5- Stabilized wood blanks that I bought off eBay and sent to RELH.
#6- Box elder burl.

It's a piece of fat as far as I can tell because the knife is pristine. I use the wax polish RELH suggested when I put it away for season. I believe it will rust if exposed to moisture for a bit.

And yes, I bought it to use it. Worked great!

Of the knives shown here, my favorite, by far, is the top one. I love the pattern/color of that “scale” handle. (Damn it!)

Here’s my RELH knife. When I buy art, I buy the art’s “character”, more than I buy the artist’s work.
I have always been interested in the Hatfield/McCoy history. After communicating and interacting with RELH here on MM I decided I needed one of his knives to add to my modest mini-collection of knives I bought or been given from other interesting knife makers that I consider artists and that I have had the opportunity of interacting with.

Beyond his knives I’ve learned that Bob is a very kind and caring gentleman besides being a dang good craftsman/artist.

Absolutely beautiful!

@2lumpy
That first knife handle reminds me of turkey feathers. I really like that one also. Ordered one like it for my son and one with a Damascus blade for myself. The rest are a combination of what I posted. I will post pictures when I get them.

Looking forward to seeing them.

When every my kids ask me what I’d like for a birthday or Father’s Day etc. I tell them, I don’t need anything but if you insist you can never go wrong with a new knife. ?
