This thread is not just a Poll, but also a photo sharing thread. First of all, of all the bucks you've seen in the wild, how many antler points is the most you've seen on one?

Secondly, let's see photos of the buck you've taken that has the most antler points. Short stories behind the bucks are fun too!

In a month or so I'll randomly pick a couple winners from the photos shared. Each 10 likes your post gets will give you an extra entry as well.

The prizes will be a Phone Skope Kit for 1st drawn and Pyro Putty and an Arch Lighter for 2nd drawn. Thanks to the folks at Phone Skope for the gear! If you don't already own the a Phone Skope, then get over to their site and get one......that is if you don't win one here! It's a valuable piece of gear to have with you for helping to preserve your hunting and scouting adventures.

Umm Founder that isn’t a buck FYI?

19 scorable points. 3 others that most would consider a point but slightly under an inch.

This buck has the most I seen where I got a picture, he has 18.
In 2001 A friend and I located a big heavy cactus buck. He had more points than I could count, even with a 60x spotter. We called him the 15 by 15, but he could have had even more points than that.
My friend almost had him the first part of the season, but that was as close as we got. In hind sight, I wish I would have put more time in to hunting him.

No picture of him, but years ago..over 8 or 9 I'd say, there was a buck that hung out in the local cemetery whom was called the Christmas tree buck. Just an absolute ball of horns. Not sure how many points he had but it was a lot! Pretty sure someone poached him because he dissappear after about his 2nd year.

To answer the question honestly, I don't know! If I see enough mass and body size and make a decision to shoot, I'm not counting points. But, I went with 12.

I was gonna post a trail cam pic of a 12 so I could be entered in the drawing, but then I noticed it was buck I had taken. I'll find a pic of a 10 I killed a few years back and post it.

Most Points I've Seen On A Buck is A CACTUS Buck We've Seen For A Few Years Now!

He Ain't All That Big But He Does Have Alot Of Points!

Never Been Able To Count Them All!

23+ Points We Do Know That!

I Can't Believe Somebody Towards The Last Os Seasons Hasn't Blasted Him Yet!

What you guys don’t ever see the turdy point buck. Have of New Mexico hunters see him every time they go hunting, just can’t seem to kill him

Back in the late 80's or early 90's I was out hunting whitetail in OH with my grandfather and brother during shotgun season. I had to abide by natures call so I got to a downed tree, leaned my shotgun up against and found a comfy spot. As luck would have it as soon as I get going I hear leaves rustle, look to my left and just at the top of the ridge, not 20yds from me was this monster buck. I couldn't move since he spotted me, so I opted to count the points coming off his rack in seemingly all directions while he stared me down before trotting off. He had 10 on his right and 12 on his left with matching drops on each side. It was odd though, he wasn't super wide at all. Never saw him again and no one tagged him that I am aware of. Still biggest whitetail I've seen on hoof, sucker looked like a cow with a whitetail rack.

I'm sure the buck with the most points I've seen was one too far away to count. It was around 1972 and the buck was about 800 yards away so I didn't even think about shooting. There was snow on the ground and I could see points sticking out everywhere. He ran up the mountain about 200 yards away from another hunter with an open sighted lever gun. He emptied his gun on that buck without touching a hair, probably shooting straight in the air from the excitement.
Boy those days are long gone!

Here is one that has been a lifetime memory. My Dad shot this buck in 1972 on the general season rifle hunt with me standing right next to him when I was 11 years old. Shot with old military Russian 7.62 open sights. Both of my grandfather's were there also for the hunt/memory. I packed the rack and head out by myself while my father and both grandfather's packed the deer out. They all commented on the size and weight of that deer. That is what I remember about deer hunting every year growing up. Family hunt, lots of deer and always a few sighting of a couple big bucks. No rifle scopes, just open sight military rifles and Winchester 30-30's. Wouldn't trade it for anything. I've looked at that buck mount and have had great memories of the old days for 51 years and still do!!!

2020 Archery Buck.
12x13 gross 238. I couldn’t find the previous sheds after walking tons of miles, but he put on almost 40 inches of bone in one year as you can see from the field photo the year before. Crazy what they can’t do year-to-year if they can hide through the calvary season.

Did anyone see a video of a guy that harvested a mule deer that would be the new world record if he just took the velvet off the antlers? I think I got that right. He said the deer should stay like he was when he was harvested. I would have taken the velvet off just because I don’t like the looks of the velvet

My oldest son had this buck at 10 yards for like 20 minutes during rifle season. All we could see was his head/antlers feeding. We were throwing rocks over his head to try to get him to come toward us for a shot. Eventually a train passed and the buck jumped the fence onto a piece of private and we had to watch him walk. Went back for several days and he never came off of the private again. Two years later he was killed by an outfitter that claimed he was 230”, I really doubt it but his sheds are 180ish non-typical.

Here’s another buck with a lot of points, I have a single shed off all three of the bucks in this picture. Couldn’t match up any of them. (Yet)
