I skipped last year going shed hunting completely. This year gonna try to get out once a week to get some exercise. I know some of you guys building your horn piles. Lets see what your finding this year. Maybe we can bury some of these political threads. My find today.

you cant pick up a dead head , that belogs to the state. Process is you must call the game and fish officer in the district and essentially make an offer for purchase with recipet and such..

Walked a few miles the last two weekends and only found 1 elk shed. It was a raghorn.

Lots of trucks with with hunting stickers at trailheads this last weekend… but I’m sure those boys just came to walk their dogs in knee deep snow definitely not shed hunting in Co…

My dad found a beautiful 5 point muley shed in 2017 up in 2B. Ive had it in the garage since , but a few weeks ago took it out and displayed it against a big yucca in my front yard.Some piece of crap stole it . I know I ran that chance but that butthole walked onto my private and took what they didn't own . I HATE THIEVES !!!

Same happened here. Found a matching set of 320-ish 6x6 elk muzzy hunting 6C one year. Bull jumped off a small bank into a wash and both dropped about 4 feet from each other at the same time.

Had them in the wife's flower bed in the front yard and they were snatched up by the local UPS driver. I know they were because he told me what kind of a shame it was to have them sitting there like that and it would be better for me to just give them to him if I didn't really want them...

Yeah I once put an OLD chalky, crappy decent 6x elk shed in my front yard and it disappeared within a couple of months.

It’s why I only put out my rag horn chaulkies, I guess the influencers haven’t stoopped to taking those yet

Set ATL yesterday. Something was chewing on the antler and I must have scared it off. It was wet with saliva when I walked up. It was looking like a pretty weak day and I was heading out of the canyon I was in getting ready for the long walk back to the truck and there it was.
