Having to put the money up front for Big Game Tag in draws.

Just eliminate points altogether and make it a random draw. That eliminates the people putting in just to keep up. The point systems are what has created this extra demand. The fear of missing out means most will apply for every possible animal, even without a specific desire to hunt that species right now.

The Wildlife departments loves this as people pay more in fees without issuing anymore tags. But it has completely undermined the premise of most states systems, and led to rampant point creep. It will never happen, but a return to random drawings will fix much more than fronting the money, or any other scheme.

Not only is this the best answer, but it is the only way to keep younger hunters in the game. At least having a chance in a lottery is better than spending 20+ years waiting without a decent tag…many are losing interest because of lack of opportunity. Do a weighted draw like Nevada.

The best answer is Idaho's. But I'd go one step further and split elk and deer too; one premium application(meaning once in a life or low draw odds elk or MD) per hunter, per state, per year. Fact of the matter is there aren't enough trophy hunts to go around. Start by not letting everyone put in for everything every year. I'd be happy with one premium tag in any one state, for any one species, at least once in my life.

Same tag fee's for both NR and Resident deer tags?

Don't think you treat Residents and Non Residents the same...and I'm perfectly fine with that. Your State, your animals, your rules.
Different fee but as far as the application and draw percent nr apps don’t have a quota technically ( not that it would happen but just an extreme example) every deer tag in the draw could go to a nr we don’t have a nr deer quota.

I think its indictment of yourself that you've never written a Governor of Wyoming.

I've written Governors and Legislators all over the U.S. Talked to many in person, they're just people. They also WANT to hear from the people, they get tired of dealing with 600 lobbyists a day.

What I've found most interesting is that all of them, every single one I've talked to, have thanked me for taking the time to comment, even though I let them know up front I'm not a constituent, and don't even live in their state.

Same thing I always get, "well, we don't hear from many people, so it was good to hear from someone".

So, by you doing nothing, you got nothing...other than another raw deal from the State you live in and hate so much you're about to move out of it.

I'm not afraid to talk with anyone...never have been, and I'm pretty good at getting my point across.

You're a real dedicated problem solver...congratulations?

Thanks for your opinion. Move to NM for 3 years and then come talk to me about the ability to influence change that doesn't align with the narrative. It's easy to tell people how to go about things all the while reminding them how "good" you got it, they get what they deserve, and the crosses they have to bear.

By not writing reps in WY does NOT mean I don't do it in NM, or UT, or CO for that matter.

It's not a crime, though, to know when to call calf rope...

It looks pretty fast. Just can’t pass a pride parade so as long as the race isn’t by one of those it’s probably got at least a chance
Name 1 that can beat a combustion db11 for under $250k? My only point is most cant afford up front tag fees for a draw. Wanna kill our sport? Do that, and allow wolves. Teĺl the wife in Wi. You want drop $300k on 40 acres to kill a few deer and turkey. Goodluck.

How many acres? I can afford it with someone else's money and then charge others to hunt the property to make the loan payment all the while putting passive income into my pocket...
515 in the #1 county for book whitetails. No motgage, dont lease any off it. Only 5 family members hunt it taking 4 bucks and 30 adult doe/year.

I did, a pride parade, no way you can pass one of those.

To be totally transparent I do not know the cost to put on a pride parade . Sounds like maybe you do though with your comment. So if it cost more then 250k to throw the parade I guess I’ll have to concede to your knowledge in the subject. With a car like that I’m guessing your an expert

This might be the funniest post ever on MM. and only a true douche could take himself this seriously because of what he drives

If your gay car is one of the top 50 most interesting things about you ( and I’m sure it’s what you lead with, that and Josh Allen :ROFLMAO:) then you are definitely boring.

For the record, I never said gay equals bad. You took it negatively so if any one is being homophobic it’d be you. The cars gay, just stating facts not insulting. It wants to stop at pride parades. You need to just embrace it. You are in So cal ( congratulations) so really must be pretty hip driving a gay car for all the “ hotties”

It’s not an American product. That’s a dealbreaker for many when it comes to vanity purchases.
