Draw Results Posted

I wonder if those who chose the E tag option will get an earlier look at result like I think they did last year

You guys make me laugh, all this anticipation of every little detail. Hell I miss the days before internet when you received an envelope in the mail with your license in it. That’s how you found out if you drew or not, that was the best method. Now it’s all this crap. But I will be checking my account when I get the email from the Fish & Game.

Yeah, you found out you had a Sept elk tag in mid July with only about a month to get ready.

I'll pass on that best method.
 
It's 07:09 in NM, if they'd get to work and update the results I'd be much more productive today.

Not really because I'd then be sneaking in and out of OnX all day looking for good elk spots.... ;)
 
Tomorrow works for me , family and I thawed some green chile today for tomorrow's meal . Im thinking its a good omen.
 
Blanked on Elk, Oryx and Sheep but drew deer. Not a trophy or even numbers unit but a fun hunt none the less.

Soooooo..... I drew this deer tag in NM in a unit I've never researched.....Not looking for honey holes... but.... ;)

Same. No elk but I did get 2b Jan 1 archery deer.

Not looking for your bee vomit cubby but iffn somebody gots gps numbers hook it uppppp

My horrific 12 year random lottery tag drought is finally over. Salvaged my first random tag in any western state lottery since 2011. Took an open sight muzzleloader deer choice in a low tier unit, but hell it’s over. I will finally get to return to the Pecos. Curious to see what it looks like since the big burn. About half the areas I know best burned, the other half no. That is actually good for me as I like to hunt the burn line transition. Stunned at least one box was green.

All RED this year again.
That pretty much sums up about 15-17 years of apps in NM for me.
 
We have drawn so many good tags in New Mexico over the years (Started in 2007) and add another OIL Oryx hunt to the list. The past couple years were rough because I was not filling out the harvest surveys - ya I know. I will take New Mexico's system and their quality over any other state by far. I have been applying in CO and NM for the same number of years. CO zero tags for anyone and New Mexico 3 elk tags in 16A, 3 antelope tags in 16, 3 antelope tags by Lordsburg, two antelope tags in the NE corner, youth elk Unit 15, two youth antelope in NE corner, Unit 21 youth antelope, 6 Oryx RC hunts (two BHO), one 2C January archery, two unit 53 muzz, and three Valle Vidal elk tags. This is for our family/close friend group, I am a fan of NM's system.

You guys have had some good luck! As far as CO goes, maybe you aren't putting in on units that you have enough points to draw? You can't put in for a 5 NR point unit with 4 points and get drawn. You'd need 5 points. I am not sure if you know that or not....

Congrats on drawing more tags though. Can I borrow one?
