Oryx off range guide

So I was lucky enough to draw an off range oryx tag for July. I have hunted them off range years ago and know that it has gotten harder every year. Any recommendations on an off range guide? Any help is appreciated. Good luck on all the hunts.

Go to the NM Oryx Hunters Fakebook page and ask the same question. You'll get a 1/2 dozen "recommendations".

If you don't do Fakebook, go there anyway.

I knew Aaron when I lived in NM. Never hunted with him but he did very well with Oryx throughout the year.

We? I wasn't asking for any guided help, you were, remember?

And, I don't remember you clarifying whether or not Aaron was just an employed guide of an outfitter or the outfitter himself, but he answered that question on his first post. In NM, you can't just hire any guide that comes recommended. It has to be a registered outfitter to be hired that the guide works for. Thought you knew that. Guess it's a good thing I asked...

Good luck on your hunt. Killed a Jan offrange this year in about 4 or 5 hours of hunting, so they're really not that difficult to find and hunt if you've done it a few times.

Just razzing you a little bit roadrunner. I could tell from your first post you are a seasoned oryx hunter. I am not…so I just was looking for a little guide/outfitter help. I should have just asked you for info. I hunted it with my youngest daughter 9 years ago and saw 10 or so a day off range. Then 3 years ago with my oldest and saw maybe 1 a day…..same spots….pretty stressful with a 14 year old girl. ? Therefore….I got a little worried that maybe I should seek a little more help. Again….just giving you a little bit of a hard time.
