I was about 16-17 years old when that album came out. I was also bagging groceries at one of our local markets at the time, and she was a regular customer. I thoroughly enjoyed bagging her groceries and taking them to her car.

VH1/2 and 1984 were phenomenal records but IMO Eddie's playing peaked on Fair Warning. Not a very popular album but the guitar playing was incredible.

An old Christmas album that my dad did around 1958 or so. This picture was shot in my parents living room. That is me sitting on my dad's lap. My parents had three more kids. I can still remember a little bit about this photo shoot, even at that age.

First and only Beatle music I ever bought. Still have it stashed amongst the other misguided purchases I’ve made, for the very reason eel mentioned.

Yup, like the Coke logo.

I think some of these covers were picked because the album was great, not necessarily the album art.

I have been thinking that the Quadrophenia album cover was a contender for one of the best.

it would likely take this ole boy a month to work all of the pops and skips out of my old Beatles album. ? It’s been a couple decades since I even took it out of the jacket but even after that long, I have a vivid memory of how abused it was.

1964 I likely paid $4.00, I could have it repaired for $4,000 today and sell it for $40.00 on ebay. He!! of a deal.

I just can’t have nice things………. everything I buy is a consumable.
