Any cc hits?

I'm pretty sure NV posts results to the website before any credit card charges take place.
The only tag I’ve ever drawn in NV I got a CC charge at midnight NV time right on the nose. (I know because the buzz of my phone woke me up). They didn’t open the draw site for 3 more hours (I know because I laid there excited staring at my phone refreshing it!).

I remember reading something about Nevada gaming laws that they could not charge cc before results were posted

I heard a guy can transfer his pts,., if terminal to a relative? is that true?
NDOW has regulations regarding tags but I am unsure if there is anything in their books concerning bonus points. For tags, if someone is diagnosed with a terminal illness before their scheduled hunt, they can designate their tag to either someone else, send it back to NDOW or transfer to an approved organization.

There is a little blurb (link below) about bonus points that state "Those points cannot be transferred to another person or into another species category". However, it's a short line and of course doesn't address extenuating or otherwise life-altering events. I imagine this is a case-by-case basis and will likely require a phone call.

Bonus points can’t be transferred to another person, regardless of circumstances. To verify one only needs to look at the application data to see there’s one applying with more than max points for any given hunt.

Posting results prior to CC hits has nothing to do with NV gaming laws; however, there is or was a law (NRS) mandating NDOW release results within 48 hours of the completion of the draw and when this happened it put the online results in line before most CC hits. I’m not 100% sure this remained after NV moved away from the Fallon, NV based company and started the new system by Kalkomey but results have been consistently posted 2 days after the draw is completed for several years now.

As of 1:30am PST, no changes in my portal & no CC hit. Come on desert bighorn tag…!!!!

Is there any sort of “back door” someone has been able to figure out such as your points updating before you are notified so you at least have an idea?

I wonder what they consider the end of the draw? Was there other stuff they had to do to finalize the draw after the YouTube stream? If not, then we could have results in 3 hours or if there was more to do it'll be later today. Either way it's today and it's the state I look forward to more than all the others combined!

Below is the exact language for the “48 hour” law. Based on this results should be posted no later than 5:00 PM Pacific time tonight.

NAC 502.4208  Posting results of computerized drawings. (NRS 501.105, 501.181, 502.160, 502.175)

1.  The Department shall post, on an Internet website that is operated or administered by or on behalf of the Department, the results of a computerized drawing for tags or permits not later than 48 hours after the completion of the drawing.

2.  For the purpose of calculating the 48-hour period pursuant to subsection 1, each drawing shall be deemed to have been completed at 5 p.m. on the day of the drawing.

That's good info. Thanks Tilz!

They copy the results file to 3 separate USB sticks which each going to separate entities (NDOW included of course). After that, I imagine each department that received the file will confirm it's the same file by verifying the hash signature.

From there, NDOW begins parsing through the file with their system which is also responsible for sending the emails.

I really thought/hoped we would of had results from a few more states by now. Maybe by middle of next week ID, Nev. , and UT will be posted. ??
Well, NV is today so don't see why everyone is that impatient. And ID hasn't even closed the application period (for elk/deer). They never post until late June.

Skunked. Was hitting at least 1 tag 75% of the time using RNG. Pretty sad as a resident to apply for everything possible and not draw a tag. Especially applying for the easiest to draw too.

111-115 rifle. Hell yeah!!!
Congrats, man! I'll be in 111-112 for the cow hunt. May I ask how many points you used for your bull tag? I'm sitting at 5 (now 6) points and I figure I would need another couple of years before I have a reasonable chance.

Thanks! I’m pumped. I had 12 points going in this year. Good luck on your cow hunt.
