For the rookies out there who may not know how to get immediate card hit notifications. Logging in to check card over and over for multi states and multi draw releases per state? No thanks.

Just set with some thoughtful parameters so phone does not ping when your wife is picking up a fresh three pack of fruit of the loom undies for you at walmart.

They probably have to charge a minimum of week ahead of the post date to let people with declined cards make good, move to next if not and repeat if the fill ins have bad charges.

Shut down the change card and back up tells me they have the list of successful applications and associated charge numbers now.

It has to be no later than Tuesday.
 
I'm getting the message that my specific confirmation number and session id numbers can not update.

Possible backdoor?
 
Fortunate to have a pocket full of tags already. With four states left. And must squeeze in a 3 week China trip before elk hunt. But would somehow find time for an OIL hunt if lightning strikes. Good luck to everyone.

That's not sounding good if you don't see a pending charge on the card. Mine still says can't edit ....

Nobody has reported charges yet.

Not sure if it helps or not but mine reads the same way. Only difference may be is I applied points only for general deer (forgot why but probably had a good reason at the time.) I cant remember if I get an additional charge for the point or if thats included in the app fee … good luck, fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Well, I'm sitting on a big goose egg so far this year. Based on last year's applications and this years proposed quotas, I'm in realistic draw position for either Henry Mountains ALW buck or hunters choice bison. I am jonesing on the Utah draw more than any other this year!

I’m wondering if it’s an indicator of successful draw? Or is it random one way or the other? Mine shows like yours and your wife’s, and I didn’t have any tag I was confident I’d draw this year.
 
You may be on to something.

Does Dad have any other solo apps that he might have drawn alone? Even if the dad/Jake group app was a failure? Does Utah charge group apps separately or all go on leader's credit card?

You guys that know you are guaranteed GS Deer - are you all showing the "cannot be edited" version of the message?

Is this new messaging for 2023? What did this screen say last year when CC update ability went down?

I hope that isn't a mountain of unsuccessful applications. That would not make sense for a youth general deer hunt that had 100% draw odds in 2022 for a unit that has the same number of permits available in both 2022 and 2023. We will see.
 
Look FAR above for a 3rd variation of screen messaging (from Friday?): "Credit card changes cannot be done at this time". Maybe that one was prior to draw?

But today, we're seeing only two variations? Theory is:
"all CC transactions successfully processed" = didn't draw
"CC cannot be edited" = drew something.

We need alot of guys with pretty much guaranteed GS deer tags to test the theory.

Ours all say the same things as well. I'm expecting my daughter to draw general season deer but it's not 100%.
 
Okay here's the conclusion I'm at. Most applicants have been selected, some have not yet. Cards are being processed, they are done with some and not with others. Sometime this week they will hit the send button and credit card statements will start showing up. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

My son's is showing the same thing. He has like an 78 percent chance of drawing. I can't find my confirmation email on mine. We shall see what happens. I had a 95 percent of drawing an archery deer tag unless I f'd it up somehow
 
So to answer some questions, my dad's only other application was for moose.

I had my buddy check all his stuff and it shows the same as mine.

The only thing I can think of for why Dads would be different is because the other day when I checked this it actually made me put in new card information. I used the same card, but it would not let me cancel the process..... so I had to submit new card information into the system. Maybe this delayed his process time????
 
They may have completed the draw and know who has and hasn't been selected for tags to submit a credit card charge, but nothing has been processed with cards. Once a card is processed it will show with your card company, they can't control that.

I had to do the same exact as you did with your dads card and mine says the exact same cannot edit. I’m guessing that means more than likely unsuccessful.
 
Hear me out on this conspiracy is they already had the draw everyone that drew is.keeping it hush hush so we don't have to see the I didn't draw my choice le tag with half a point utah is so unfair I won't be in town to scout for my le tag does anyone have one chained up somewhere.......
 
Is it bad that at least the drama and speculation keeps me entertained enough that I can wait for the draw ??. I would love to hear any more conspiracy theories, it is indeed a real sickness. At times it can get out of hand, like around draw season.
 
Someone in the UDWR has a personal grudge against a specific person with max sheep points who's CC expires 5/23. They are planning on holding the draw June 1st so this person's CC is denied. No tag and no point so no longer max points.

Don't ask me how I know.
 
The anticipation is grueling. I still don't understand how Nevada can run their draw in such a smooth timely manner, while Utah seems to struggle each year. I'm sure there's more to the draw then we are all aware of, but it claims online credit cards are being processed...... at that point why couldn't emails be sent out? If cards are being processed then the information needed to charge those cards should be available. I totally support the division, but the lady in charge off the draw process doesn't seem to concerned about how people view the process. Now is her time to hold all the power ;)

If the cards were being processed, the post above from Instantgram would have to be BS as we would all know if we had a hit or not long before 9 days from now.
 
Seems like they would want to minimize the time between card update opportunity and the draw...I mean if they shut off card updates last week...and don't draw for another week...that many more issues to potentially fix. I think they are just sticking to the party line and results could start trickling out any hour (or day) now.

I think they are just holding true to the 31st. They could release them anytime but they are going to stick to the 31st kind of how Wyoming and Colorado stick to their deadlines. Oh well.
 
They are releasing results later because they moved the draw deadline back because everyone was crying about not knowing the quota prior to applying... :ROFLMAO:

Personally I can wait for a few more weeks to find out I drew jack squat...

Im telling you watch the video where the Karen in charge of Utah Draws talks about draw results. She was very happy to snottily and condescendingly say May 31st. You could tell she enjoyed having the power to tell wide swaths of people "no". Sorry but I dont expect anything until 5/31 and she is why.

Dont like it Utah, fix it.
