Amatuer question here but…….. I got a successful email but my son did not ??? Non residents. We did put in as a group tho ??? I’m scared to tell him until I know for sure but there was no mention of him being successful ?

Usually, once they sort out you are NR and applied as a group, they’ll rescind your tag.

I would think they would have the common sense to realize I was a non resident from the get go ……… but I have been to Utah before and that pretty much says enough right there ? ! Am I supposed to laugh now ??? Not funny ……

Received my email. I had 2 LE elk points and 18 Mtn Goat points… had high hopes for drawing Mtn Goat and zero expectation for drawing elk. Yet that’s exactly what happened. Drew an archery elk tag for Fish Lake! Can’t wait for September!

Whoo Hoo!!!!! Looks like I will be going to Utah twice this year.
September for early rifle Elk on the Manti, then back again for deer in the Beaver unit!! Only waited 28 years to get drawn for the Elk tag.

I'm not sure how this would even happen... you put in as a group for the same hunt, and no other hunts separately.? What a weird draw result...

First time in my life I have successfully been unsuccessful in the draw. Now I can condition myself to get in the cage in July to participate in the blood bath for an elk tag as my last opportunity to hunt this state in 2023. Man I love this system?

Has anyone NOT received your emails yet? I got mine. 6X NR (UN's) . My son, who is a resident, has not seen an email. Do they normally come out over the course of a couple days?

I didn't feel bad for not drawing for an almost nil shot. But I just applied for my Resident Idaho Deer, Elk and Pronghorn tags and they range from 2-4% draw odds. I know it will be a punch to the stomach I'm just waiting for. ?
