This is too funny not to post and I don’t know any of you guys personally so here we go.

Let my bait run dry a week ago with all the work needed done around here so finished up my project and decided to grab the rifle and head out yesterday for a couple nights.

Hiked in about 3 miles to camp, got set up and headed up the hill to my glassing spot. Now, here’s where I’ll tell you, I can’t stand ticks. Just can’t. So hiking in I was looking. Get to camp check out my clothes all good. I wear gators and two long sleeves tucked in and not a tick on me. Super happy. Figure maybe their not to bad up this high

About 4 pm at my glassing spot I feel something on my hand. A tick, just one, no big deal so I kill it. Then I look at my shoulder, there’s another one. Ok, time to check. Pull off my one shirt, a dozen on my back. Damn it. Pull off my next shirt, another 8. On my body that I can see, another 4. Time to get naked

So there I am. Naked on the side of the mountain, I reach back and there is a tick about 2” from my butt hole. Now this is probably the only thing in this world I’m afraid of, is a tick, getting to my butt hole. So now, naked on the side of a mountain I’m trying to get a picture of my own butt hole to see if I missed one… It was at this point that I decided I really don’t care this much about killing another bear, I’ve killed plenty, got dressed, grabbed my chit and back to camp. Camp was crawling with them and that was it. Packed it all up, back to the truck and a two hour drive home.

I walk in and my wife says “what are you doing here” I just answered “ticks” she knows me pretty well and didn’t ask…I’ll kill a bear this fall

How do you guys keep those things off you?

The bears that I have taken in so far have been loaded. I mean like nothing I have ever seen. I think there will be a lymes disease outbreak coming. I'm not talk 10-50 that I seen fall off. But 100's

I'll take ticks over poison oak. I went on an overnight steelhead fishing trip one winter. I built a fire and cooked some hot dogs on a stick....a poison oak stick. They lose their leaves in the winter. I had poison oak everywhere, and I mean everywhere. Inside and out.

Not Dew, but about spewed it reading this one!

The ticks in Montana weren’t too bad where we hunt this year. My bear had a few, but nothing too crazy. My Alberta bear I killed yesterday didn’t have any on it that I noticed. That being said, I’ve dealt with them being super thick some years. I woke up one morning with 2 attached to the side of my unit, and 1 in the B hole. Camp got a very thorough cleaning after that.

I decided to shoot a Cottontail and make Stew. When I got ready to skin it in the snow they started boiling out like 40 or 50 of them. I just left it for the Yotes.

You win.

I was in Northwest Colorado a few weeks ago. Sprayed down pretty good with tick spray. Long sleeves, tucked my shirt in. I still got one of the little SOB chewing on my belly button. I just happen to be packing a pair of tweezers and was able to pull it out head and all. ?

So anyone here actually pulled a tick out of their butthole. How did you do it, tweezers and mirror or by feel. Did you have somebody else pull it out for you? How did you find it in the first place?

Only once. Solo/No Help Zone and mirror was essential. It was embedded but already dead. 25 years ago at least and I still think of that dead little f-er. Never again I hope!

Gordie passing out when he sees a Leech in his underwear in a bad spot and pulls it off his D and sees blood. ? from the movie Stand By Me..

Ya we went fishing last weekend. the ticks are way bad this year in the basin, everyone of us had ticks on us. Watch close.

Bro, it's ok, we understand you need content for your only fans, no story needed

By feel, solo, in the shower cleaning the essentials.

It was fully latched when I discovered it. I panicked and ripped it out. Didn’t get all the tick out (it’s head was in my ass). Later it caused an unpleasant issue that needed surgical intervention. Needless to say the paranoia of tick biting the b hole is warranted in my opinion!

Can't say as I've had tick on the nether regions but about 20 years ago while working in the Tulsa area, I picked up one on my shin. found it the next day, pulled that ***** off and a couple of days later had the bullseye pattern on my leg. Was leaving in Juneau at the time and those docs didn't know what to do. I think a lot of my joint issues are because of that bite.
