Hey everyone,
Looking for some information about hunting this area. Put in this area as my second option and wasn't expecting to draw but lucked out I suppose and drew this dandy. The first area I put in I have done some legwork and scouted the area in previous years but as far as this unit I am a virgin lol. I drew the Archery Tag. I'm not looking for any honey holes but I would greatly appreciate any information from anyone that's hunted this unit and can give me tips during about what the deer may be doing or some good areas to start my search. I most likely will be alone but geared up for what I hope is a good hunting season August-October. I'll be pulling a four wheeler with a good base camp as well as satellite camping. I expect the deer will be closer to water and not as active during the day and that's about as far as I can guess. Unfortunately I won't be able to do any pre hunt scouting due to work.. Again I appreciate any information that anyone would be willing to share and will gladly come back and post the results of my hunt.
