Me likey. Are my eyes deceiving me, or are the right G2 and left inline between the G2 and G3 forked? I love that kind of stuff.

There's another site? WTH! Why didn't someone tell me? Now I feel like looking around at other ways to waste my time...nah forget it this wastes plenty.

BTW..I heard this bull was killed in the Selway by a good friend of my cousins' uncle.

HK

Befoe any more rumors get started here are the facts...He is the governors tag bull, he was killed by an extremely dedicated hunter from Texas, and he grosses 419 5/8. The hunt was outfitted by Kerry Sebring of High Lonesome Otfitters in partnership with Jason Browning of WALLAGOG outfitters. Any other claims to this bull are just not factual. There were however over 20 peole involved in what was a 70 day hunt that produced this great bull, and they all deserve much credit.

Well he is ONE of the Governor's tags bulls........I'm just sayin......

Here are two pictures that I just received and who's who in pictures.

Good for Larry! He didn't just show up for the coup de grace. He really hunted for it and credit goes to him and those guys who found that whopper.

WoW what a Toad!!!! Congrats to the hunter and all who was involed in finding and taken this awesome bull. When was it killed and what part of the state did it come from if u dont mind me asking?

know he just showed up, he is just a hunter that had over twenty people loolking for an elk for him. I know exactly where were he killed this bull. Only for his paid help is the only way he found this one.

bugle100,

your accusations are almost as bad as your sentence structure. One thing is clear, by saying there were 20 people on that hunt it proves that you don't know Kerry at all. I have known the family nearly all of my life, his son Jerry practically grew up with us and I can remember having him at our family reunions etc. not to mention leasing our ground to them as far back as 94 for hunting.

Even with all of that and the fact that it is in my back yard, I seldom knew where Kerry was hammering those giant Zuni Mt bulls and that's because he operates in exactly the opposite way that you describe. He does it himself, with very little help and unlike you he keeps his mouth shut and lets his results do the talking.

BTW, as you so eloquently said:

>Only for his paid help is
>the only way he found
>this one.

WTH do you pay an Outfitter or Guide to do if not to hopefully do exactly that? If its supposed to work the other way around then somebody please tell me, because I would like to book a client that can spend some time and find the animal for me and then Ill take it from there!?!

Son

Son, well said. You knew it was just a matter of time before the bitter guys show up.
That being said I doubt I ever buy a governors/commissioners tag. It just is not my cup of tea.

Obviously when you look at the accomplishment of killing a unbelievable bull like that it has to be shared between the guide and hunter.

One of the best bulls I have ever seen.

Just to clarify for those who have never been involved in this type of hunt. The 20 people mentioned earlier included cooperation from several ranchers that allowed us access to hunt this elk, guides, packers, game and fish employee support for Lary, and many others. When all the chips fell the people involved made about the same money they would have on a regular five day rifle hunt. The bull is magnificent, he was extremely smart, and lets just keep the respect for him and the hunter here and not get caught up in all the other stuff.

I guess all I can chime in with on the subject is that this type of animal is out of the reach of the common folk. Money, networking, and privilege came together as well as Boots on the ground and honest hard work.

I am not a hater and by gawd this is an exceptional bull. If this man has the means to chase his dream, who am I to fault him. I would do exactly the same thing. It's not like this was a high fence hunt. The man just pulled his resources and capitalized big time.

Kudos to the hunter and those involved with the chase.

nice bull! dogfashion your on the right track maybe we should just let everyone know on this forum where his honey hole is. we can't draw a bull tag anyway and our pockets are not very deep only change! but a great bull.

Well i just can not seem to let this post fade away. If you haven't already read the post on the other forum two individuals have given out the area (37) where this huge bull was taken. Not many bulls but the ones that are there are good. Maybe someone will kill the big bull that Sebring seems to fall short on the last two years. (southend of Carrizo look high) Good Luck!!

P.S. Maybe Sebring should have stayed with those HUGE ZUNI BULLS and stay out of areas that he his not wanted!!!!

Why the pi$$in match??????? A fantastic bull, one of the best I've ever seen.

Seems everytime someone buys a primo tag, hunts their arse off and is successful, the haters come out like pimples on a teenager.

With all the governors tags, comissioners tags, landowner tags that use guides, there should be 100s of 400" bulls taken every year if you follow the "haters" theory.

And whining "the normal guys can't hunt 70 days," whaa whaa. Most average people get off at least 114 days a year, that's just weekends and 2 weeks vacation.

I don't know the hunter or the guide so I don't have a dog in this fight, just tired of all the negativity.

Congrats to all involved.

I hell I want him in that unit because I don't hunt there. i just don't want him hunting my "HUGE BULLS" lol

"I have found if you go the extra mile it's Never crowded".

One heck of an incredible elk. What tough looking country they found him in, too.

Why is it that everytime someone kills an outstanding animal, a few small minded people have to do all they can to denigrate those involved? I have a theory, it is known as 'small penis syndrom.'

Well SON huge ZUNI BULLS!

And to gator: your quote is not true If you go the extra mile in this unit theres over 20 people up there. LOL

good more guys to help pack out that big bull. LOL

If I'm not mistaken, this bull is on Goochs latest movie. I picked it up at the Expo and it's a great movie by the way.

Cheers,
Pete

thank you and the 2 other guys for showing how smart you are for being able to identify the spot where that bull was killed ..us guys that that have hunted 37 for 40 yrs and the guys that kept their secrets to their deaths will forever be indebted to you

Nothing like resurrecting a 13 year old thread to scold people about hotspotting only to introduce the hotspotted area to a whole new generation of folks that had never seen this before. Well done, plough! Very well done.
