Sometimes it pays to have an otc sheep tag in your pocket while deer hunting an otc sheep unit. No luck getting a buck but this was much better imo.
Glassed this guy bedded about 600 yards out on day 4 of the deer hunt. After a quick game plan we made our way around and up above him on the hill. She was only comfortable to about 100 yards with the peep sight on the muzzy. We managed to sneak into about 50 yards and waiting on him to stand and these are the results. Super proud of her, she did something not many others can say they have done. Otc ram with the ole smokepole

this was the only one we saw in 4 days but yes some really good rams went down in the otc areas
