Ammo background check NO more!

I'll believe it when I see it. But I'll probably never see it. Moved away from that cess pool, way too many Citidoits.

I already did. Brownells, Turners, Palmetto all sent emails to me about the case and they are shipping to California residents.

This is like the gun magazine Freedom Week, except Benitez ordered a permanent injunction out of the gate and didn't stay it. Also, he already denied their almost immediate appeal, so this may stand permanently.

The $1 cost wasn't a big deal, but unconstitutional as *uck! The main thing for me, is if I find better deals online, I can have it sent straight to my house.
 
Thanks for the heads up. I bought a couple cases of steel for ducks, the one thing I shoot a lot and don’t reload. Hopefully the ruling sticks but honestly not optimistic about it.
 
Last time this happened the largest mail order ammo house had to cancel more ammo than it shipped due to instant demand and the re instatement of the law.
 
before the ban I ordered around 15 cases of waterfowl ammo, I had one case left as of last week, so I just ordered 6 more cases from rogers, will see if it makes it. the order did go through.
 
Where is the best place to order .22 LR copper (non lead) ammo? I can't find any in the local stores.
 
The morning after it passed the big stores would not sell to CA. A few smaller operations like Choice Ammo and Underwood sold to me.

I think this is short term. Will be heard by merits panel probably this week and hopefully will get an injunction again like our CCW case.

If you placed your order after the decision, one of our Customer Service Representatives will contact you. At that time, you can select the FFL where you want the ammunition shipped. If you have multiple items in your order and not all are restricted, the items shipping directly to you will ship at the same time as the restricted items. Any fees charged by the dealer are your responsibility and will not be paid by MidwayUSA. We are not able to take backorders on ammunition shipping to California.

Use lead and just empty your magazine before getting back to the truck. Only take what you're gonna shoot.....

Yes, but I need a partial box of non lead ammo on me to make it look like I used it.

Back when they went to steel shot for ducks, I always had some on me but when I made my lunch the night before I made a couple of Super-X sandwiches. That's 3 lead shot shells in between two slices of bread wrapped up tight in wax paper in case I got checked. They never checked my sandwiches. I always ditched the empties after shooting them. I might or might not still do that.

From what I've read, the non lead 22 LR ammo is not accurate enough to hit a squirrel anyway.

Love the sandwich idea.....I've done that but with albondigas. It was a little messy.
 
I did get my full order of ammo today, and my son made 2 orders about 8 hour later one of the order got canceled and the other we don't know yet.
 
Got lucky on timing and my two cases were delivered today. Screwed up and forgot to add some 25 auto ammo on the order never seem to find that locally

So, when does a Court case actually end and the Judge's decision final? Bonta keeps getting one of his but buddies in the 9th to keep kicking that can down the road and makes any other Judges decisions invalid. Is this how the system is supposed to work? If so,then the only way to win is to get a Republican Attorney General elected. Or it will never end.

NEVER....when the left loses....the left never takes no for an answer.
 
The left has learned to weaponize the long time frames for court decisions to come down. They know many of their gun laws are illegal and will get nullified by the Supreme Court, but that process takes years and they drag it out as long as possible.

Me too. I have a feeling it will shoot okay in my bolt action Rem 541.

I looked at my order. I ordered 4 boxes of 50 rounds each and they charged me $2.85 a box plus $12.50 to ship. I thought I could order more if it shoots, but I guess not.
