Gonna go up? It's been going up forever.Out at the range yesterday and was told gunpowder is gonna go up, roughly 10 bucks a pound.....By me 1lb is around 50, Now. Time to get a few extra lbs... ce61
I have to disagree; Reloading does not save money. If you're getting into reloading to save money you will have a rude awakening. If anything, it is much more expensive. Equipment, time, components and shooting more often while working up loads. It's going to be more expensive than grabbing a box off the shelf.I can't believe the price of power AND primers. I got into reloading years ago to have consistent loads while saving money....... good freaking luck now
I agree with you 100% right now.... I'm just saying that several years ago, the cost was lower per round to get maximum performance and get the best round for your gun. I also agree with you that it's only going to get worse... it's been getting worse every year.I have to disagree; Reloading does not save money. The main reason to reload is to make the exact load you want in the caliber you choose.
In 2034 people will be wishing they bought at 2024 prices.
Lord help us ……..lmmfao.....in 2034 we'll be speaking Chinese and subsisting on fish heads.....
I seen 2 1 pd cans of RL26 on there. Bid was up to 300.00 . Had several days left. And 60.00 shipping hazmat.I saw on gunbroker guys are asking $950-$1000 for 8lbs of RL26!!! At those prices I’m sitting on a literal fortune.
Did that years ago except RL-25. Still have a bit. Wish I would have bought RL-15.5 recently. mtmuleyThey couldn’t give RL 26 away when it first came out. I bought a chit load before everyone realized how useful it is.

I just saw some locally, I’ll have check again and see if it’s still available…Did that years ago except RL-25. Still have a bit. Wish I would have bought RL-15.5 recently. mtmuley
Want to load the 70 grain Hammer in .243 to super high velocity. Works well in the .06 also. mtmuleyI just saw some locally, I’ll have check again and see if it’s still available…
What are you using it for mtmuley?
How much faster than H4350?Want to load the 70 grain Hammer in .243 to super high velocity. Works well in the .06 also. mtmuley
There's load data on the Hammer site of speeds up to 3800 fps. Albeit in a 26 inch barrel. Mine is 22 inches. Shooting the 80 grain now but curious as to where I can push the 70 grain. mtmuleyHow much faster than H4350?
I think I'm over 3500 with no pressure.
right....lol.....Checkout Midwest Reloads, best selection and prices I've seen in a long time. they had everything I wanted in stock and $25 flat rate shipping.
maybe I should wait and see if they really have it before I talk them up, but I have a shipping notice.
You’re probably adequately supplied for the life of the barrel.Dang and I'm getting a 338 edge here shortly. It's roughly 75 shots per pound... OUCH. I suddenly feel under supplied with 18 pounds of H1k and 8 pounds of Retumbo.
That could become a very limited shooter opting for the 6.5 Creed and 6 Dasher for trigger time.
