    Mule Deer Counties

I think your list looks pretty reasonable. The only one I might question is Mora county. Mora county is surrounded by other counties that DO produce large bucks, and I have seen many large bucks in that county. Other than that the rest of your list looks about right One thing to keep in mind...

So is this representative of New Mexico?

First off NM is by no means the only state in the west that voted for Obama. You have to include CO, NV, CA, OR, & WA. And I for one did not vote for him. Although I am pretty embarrassed by the stupidity of 56% of this state. Second if you want to avoid the knuckle draggers you need to take up...

I too use 8x for almost all of my glassing. I do have a spotting scope that comes into use on those rare occasions when I really do need more power. Thing is when I do NEED more power 10x just isn't going to cut it anyway so why waste room in my pack, weight, money, on something that is...

    Foggin Swarovskis

There's any easy fix for that, and you don't have to change a thing. Most opticians/optical shops sell a liquid lens cleaner that has antifogging properties. Pearle Vision markets a product called Kleer-Fog that works wonders. There are lots of products out there. Works wonders on binos, rifle...

John, At least you have an open mind. I'm not saying you should just take my word for it. Give it some time. Building a bino (or rifle/spotting scope) is not the mystery it once was. The one point you are wrong about though is that its not a buck or two.......its multiple hundreds or even...
