Picked up my Wyoming area 62 Bull the other day. The options are endless with forms etc these days. I told him to do what he thought would look good. I think he did an awesome job. This was a pic at his shop.

Look at that Neck! He was tempting to me. Such a unique buck. He was full grown…… I wonder if that ia a genetic deal, injury caused or he was damaged early in antler growth.

That’s awesome! I imagined other people had seen him and passed on him through the seasons. He was by the power lines a mile or so off of 149 both times we seen him.

Wyoming Elk unit 62 last year with Dads rifle. I shot my first whitetail and elk with that old Remington 700 35 years ago. It’s my “go to” from here on out.

The only other mature buck we saw in the 5 days. He was a tank. Just messed up on his left side. We saw him twice. Thought about it on opening day but passed. Great experience. I wish I could hunt it again and know what I know now.

We pulled into Meeteese about 3am last year before an elk hunt in 62. Drove around a minute to find a place where we could sleep a few hours before the gas station opened. Saw several huge bucks like that walking around town and bedded in yards. Cool to see!

Much appreciated advice! It makes sense. There are a lot of moving parts and possibilities. 23 years of applying is a surreal within itself. In todays world, for those starting out that feat (unfortunately) would be very costly. Hope to make the most of it and make some memories.
