We didn’t see any missing antlers but mine actually knocked of one side when he went down. To bring them back to the states you have to cut the antler anyways so it should make that process slightly easier and I’ll reattach in the USA
Still on my way back from the Russian Far East peninsula called Kamchatka. Hunt was the greatest hunting adventure of my hunting career and end in two monster moose. In the next few weeks I’ll try yo get some more details but here’s a pic of my 69” bull and my buddies 61”. I’m 6’3” and 225...

Go with Kamchatka trophy hunts and ask for Anatolii. I went with a different outfitter from the US to hopefully avoid any scam issues but basically just paid extra to use this guy. The moose hunt was amazing and I highly recommend doing it. Got a 69”. Get the google translate app and...
I’ve left plenty behind but only because I could tell there size and the mystery was over. But if I can’t tell what it is my curiosity will take over and I need to check them out. I keep the ones I leave behind as a piggy bank for those rough years.
Found this one this year. Spotted it from about 800 yards out and thought it was on the ground. Cool to find it 5’ off the ground. Still brown on the bottom side.
I’ve been hunting Utah for 30 plus years and have been checked about as many times. Only once was the experience unpleasant. We had been shooting carp with our bows and this warden was positive we were shooting trout. After laughing at his evidence of what turned out to be a dead carp he let...
I have been hunting this unit my entire life and the wild horses and now the buffalo in my opinion have been the reason for the decline in the elk and deer on the book cliff side of the river and are now doing it to the range creek side. I was the first in line to buy one of these tags and do...
I have hunted any bull units as long as I can remember and they are always a tough hunt on the public land. My. I Vern is if you put extra pressure on the elk with more hunters (unlimited) then the elk become residents of the private land. I would like to see the quota to remain at 15k and...
My 74 year old dad shot this bull on the muzzy. We were in the same boat and decided it was time to cash in points. Since it would be dads last big bull we went with BTO and had a great time. In two days of scouting we saw multiple bulls and had settled on a 335 bull with some broken points...
Dad has been hunting elk in Utah since they would let him and in our family elk hunting has always trumped anything else. Do when dad ran into some health issues last year we made the decision to cash in on his points and go on one last hunt no matter the quality of bull we wanted to do another...
