I never hear or see of anyone outside of Utah that is benefiting off of public land, that is limited to folks who reside in Utah. (That makes sense to me).

I keep thinking a grizzly bear hunt would be awesome........however that is me behind my computer saying that........maybe I would change my mind going to face to face with one.

Interesting to read how everyone has an opinion on how others should hunt, what type of deer they should shoot, what type of distance it should be shot at etc...........all based upon their own opinions. From what I hear it is all "non resident" issues. Those idiots use long range technology, wound animals, hunt in droves, shoot anything that walks..........at least that is what I hear from Wyoming Residents. (If we could eliminate the non residents we would only be left with hunters that hunt...

We had a similar experience last year, hunted hard for 7 days and walked away with 2 amazing bucks! Awesome country.....and the best hunt of my lifetime. Wyoming will push you hard physically as well but in the end who wouldn't want it any other way. Plus Wyoming residents love us folks from out...

Maybe 180 and a cool looking buck., (Honestly I have seen some "ugly" looking horns that score high and some cool looking bucks score much lower). I prefer to go after the "cool" factor vs score.

I have read both sides; ultimately I think he manipulated the situation in every facet to justify why he should have a deer. Most hunters live by first blood, others can jump in and help retrieve but ultimately the first one to shoot at and hit the buck should have every opportunity to finish...

Spent 7 days in H (did not run across another deer hunter), actually didn't see another elk hunter until the last 2 days. One of the best hunts of my life. (Not just the harvest but being in that country for the most part without others). Would love to do it again.
