Got new 10 plys with 2 spares, repair kit, compressor, etc...and 2 gas cans. I figure if the hunt info sheets tell you to carry xtra spares you should take it seriously. I've had good luck with falken 10 plys. Hoping to continue the streak.

Most western hunters prefer muleys over whitetails. However, the same hunter's get all giddy over cous deer (just a smaller whitetail lol) and totally ignore blacktail (just a smaller muley)...I don't get it. Is there something I'm missing?

Is it bull elk too? Dude, you hit the lottery. Living in Reno I would honestly trade a sheep tag for the deer tag. I don't really get the hype for sheep and being able to scout for muleys and hunt them during rut in the backyard would be amazing.

Planning on it! I think it might be providential that I didn't draw last choice deer. FCFS is a way better chance to get a quality deer tag.

Skunked. Was hitting at least 1 tag 75% of the time using RNG. Pretty sad as a resident to apply for everything possible and not draw a tag. Especially applying for the easiest to draw too.

Well, NV is today so don't see why everyone is that impatient. And ID hasn't even closed the application period (for elk/deer). They never post until late June.

I figured it's easier just to do 1 through 1000 and whatever number you get just move decimal point over one spot to match the draw %. Less confusing and math is the same.

Is your high number 10,000,000 ish? I think last year they had 9 million or so random numbers. I've been doing the same and I'm drawing at least a cow, spike or buck tag over 75% of the time.
