I get your sentiment, but sadly there are very few hunters in general units practicing selective harvest. People will drive past hundreds of whitetails on public ground to kill a 80" mule deer. Something has to change.

How would this be bad for mule deer? If they issue the same number of tags it is a wash just more difficult to draw. I for one support this, would rather play the lotto and have a chance for both than be stuck picking and choosing between the 2. But I want limited licenses in G and H areas...

It will probably never come back with cwd in the herd. Even in the best case we will never see high numbers in the older age classes of bucks.

That ain't a bear looks more like the you had an outfitter gut your deer... the things I see at the processor make this look cleaner and more salvagable than 80% of the game animals taken by outfitters in Western Wy every year.

That is one change we would all benefit from indeed. The wygoa is the biggest threat to public land and wildlife we currently face in this state. Really gets old when the outfitters/guides ain't even residents.

I was on the goat hunt last year and am going back up in a few weeks. We killed quite a few goats and only had support from the hundreds of people we encountered. Not a single negative encounter. Which was a surprise!
