Taker or No? How wide and what does he score?

Boom! 28.5" is my current widest. I'd love to be in the 30 and over club which that buck should accomplish.

    How to remove antelope sheaths???

I mixed up a little bit of auto motive bondo. Spread it on the inside of the sheath and then slip the sheaths and set to desired position.

    How to remove antelope sheaths???

Antelope skulls tend to hold more grease than deer skulls. Where yours sat for 3 years you might want to get it white and then soak it in acetone. The acetone will draw out grease that simmering, borax, and dawn misses. Here's one that got soaked in acetone I did for a friend.

    Daughters first buck

That is awesome. Too often people wouldn't dare post anything but the perfect shot placement. I'm happy you showed what it can really be like with younger hunters. I remember a couple of years ago with my son on the muzzy hunt. Ended up taking three shots. I wasn't as brave as you and...

    Euro's for Christmas

I'm continuing to help the successful youth hunters in my neighborhood to relive the excitement of their hunt each time they get to see their buck. I had a couple of first time huntresses take me up on the offer to do Euros for their first bucks. I got them ready for Christmas presents. Here...

This isn't all of them but I lined up a few euros of past bucks that weren't big enough to mount - smallest to largest.

    Daughters First Hunt

I know your excitement. I was able to experience a first buck taken by my youngest of 4 kids this year. I've been able to do that now with 3 of the 4. There is truly nothing that comes close to the emotions and the experience. I'm happy for you and congrats to her. So cool to see the AR-10...

Another Euro for a First Time Youth Hunter

I've made it known to the young hunters in my neighborhood that if they get a big game animal they shouldn't cut the skull plate off. I'll do a Euro for them. I want them to be excited about hunting and be able to think about their hunt experience each time they see their Euro mount. I had a...

I was able to complete the euro for my sons buck. Kind of sad because the cape was so pretty but this one didn't make the cut for a shoulder mount.

A First Buck for My Son - 2022 Muzzle Loader

The unit we hunt was a zoo on the archery hunt. My oldest son had a tag and we went down for the opener. He sent an arrow right over the back of a really big buck. It sure would have made for a nice buck on the wall, but it didn't happen. Later in the hunt he thought about drawing back on a...

    Springbar Type Tent

I have the Kodiak 10x14. You can fit 4 cots in it. It's tight and you have to put each persons gear under the cots but it's a comfortable night on a cot with a little space at the head to run a teat heater. It is a great tent. I've woke up to 8" of snow on it and it takes it like a champ...

Two pending charges for $40 here. They didn't show up 'til late last evening. Two $40 charges for my friend so he and I and two of the 6 sons between us will be hunting together. It's been a few years since the drawings have put us together on the mountain at the same time. I looking forward...

    CC hits

There is so little opportunity to draw the youth anybull tag. It's for youth 12-18 so only 6 chances and it's an OIL tag for the kid. Go and have a good time on the mountain with your kid. If you dont get an animal like when I went with my son, you'll still have added time with your kid doing...
