Congrats. The area is hard to hunt until the big push down around mid nov. Sometimes down early but taking away to late hunts could improve quality.

Pic was pulled from the enet. Chances are this buck was grown on a texas freak ranch. The brush in the first pic looks like texas. A lot of sheds found in 45 are from bucks migrating from other units to their winter range. The buck I found the antler from may have came from solider mtn area.

He didn't grow much from last year.

For the honest man maybe but to raise them and pass them off as wild deer with old trail cam pics and video anything can be legit with a good story. Both bucks are insane and genetics are hard to beat. Short answer is who knows???

This time of year a lot of your bears will be around a water source in the nastiest stuff. Maybe you can glass one up but with heavy foliage and their dark color it will be hard unless your lucky. I would be looking more for scat in the area then the bear its self. If you find a lot of berries...

Not an AT tire but I recently switched to Cooper STT pro. This outperforms and wears better then all my BFG AT and MTs I had. Have the tire in 35in on a ram cummins 10k so far and no complaints. Last BFG AT tire I had on it had to change out at 15k. Majority of my driving is on gravel.

Paid $5lb cut and wrapped @ hanging weight 545. Just have to drive 30 miles for pickup. Last half I bought I paid 1200 plus 300 cut and wrap. Everything I'm hearing this price almost doubled.

545lb is light for this time of year. First half beef I bought was the late spring of 2016 and that steer was around 250lb and tasted sage nasty. My deer and elk tasted better. Think that guy lasted 3yrs just because I had wildgame in freezer.
